Official Bye Week Thread.

I thought that was because they took their foot off the gas and tried to run in the 2nd half and with establishing a run game.

I predict that we don't take any in the bye week but Tomlin shows up in Seattle thinking we have 6.

 

I'm wondering how many fines and suspensions we come out of the bye with. Somebody please keep an eye on Bryant the whole time. Can't afford have him out after midnight this weekend. Tomlin should promptly tuck him in a 11 pm. Good thing Blount's no longer a teammate.

 

thats better than i thought we did 86. i did remember hearing league wide that it's usually not that good for most teams. of course that was a few years ago. thanks for digging for that info though.

 

Well - it's now 22 hours and counting to the Bye week kickoff - never been as excited as this upcoming game against Bye U (I think it's just down the road from BFT's place). Let's go - no injuries, no losses, no ties, no worries. Go Cardinals!

Browns were faking run to one side while rolling him out. He really only had 1-2 reads on those plays, but he's a gambler and will throw across his body often.

 

I wonder how much of that 6-2 record is because of "have to win". It will be interesting to see how we do with a little more relaxed attitude - not that I'm saying we should be relaxed, quite opposite IMO.

 

I am not liking our chances in Seattle.

So I'm supposed to root for the Rats so that they don't get a top ten draft pick?

I love the sound of that during this part of teh season but can never actually root for that team no matter what.

The team I'm rooting the most for today is Arizona. Go Cards beat the Bungles.

 

And for the texans to beat the jets, and hold your nose, for the patriots to beat the bills so we can keep a lock on the 5 seed: I dont care about the rats getting a top 10 draft pick, because they need more than draft picks to fix the mess they have on their hands.....

 

So what is everyone going to be going with no Steelers today? For some unknown reason I have the chicken soup cooking and just being pretty lazy. I have a feeling my thumb is really going to get a heck of a work out today jumping from game to game........

 

I'll be going out to eat for lunch. After that, I'll watch the race rooting against Kevin Harvick. On commercial I'll channel surf the games.

Looks like the refs are helping Carolina by their crappy officiating once again. Took a pick 6 away from Wash on a terrible call.

 

I so wish they'd replace Simms and Collinsworth, just can't stand listening to either anymore. Doesn't matter who they're calling.
