Jarvis showed up!

I agree with you there. He's got more potential because his biggest weakness is his lack of refinement and lack of moves. Those are both things he can learn, and he's said to be coachable. I've seen him try some new moves and look pretty awkward, but I bet the light bulb clicks for him over this offseason. Jarvis, on the other hand, is trying to improve his strength and athleticism, and that's just not as easy.

The way things are going, I think I'd like to extend Jarvis and keep him as the Robin to Bud's Batman. Of course, we don't have to decide that now. I hope he stays healthy so we don't have to do any guess-work like we did with Cortez Allen.

 

Snack would you say Jarvis has been more active with his hands this year? When I've gotten a good look at him he was making a serious effort to keep the lineman's hands off him by using his own hands which is different than Harrison, dip the shoulder, use leverage and power through the block?

It was interesting watching Chick as well on Sunday very raw but there is stuff to build on there. He had a fast step but often let his rush carry him past the pocket which would be trouble on delays, draws and screens but he kept working as well.

 

Yeah I've noticed, but I probably only noticed because there was talk about how much he was working on that over the offseason.
