I'm ok with being happy when you make a play, but I believe two times Sunday a turnover was happening(play not over), and you see celebrating while the ball is live. Ridiculous. I can't stand New England, but it's time to start using that model, considering its a "copy cat" league.

So we're supposed to start cheating at all costs, too?

I personally loved AB's flip! These guys aren't robots.

I have a love/hate relationship with that. More love than hate today. Very well executed. :)

It's all fun and games until he honks up and lands on his head!

I love it until he blows out a knee. He stuck that landing as well as most Olympic gymnasts could and looked very impressive doing so but one of these times I'm thinking the cart will be called upon once again.

The last thing we need is the WR version of the Grammatica's haha

I really don't mind it tho. It scares me for a second because I don't want to see anyone hurt, but you can't take the "fun" or the excitement out of these guys when they make big plays.
At the end of the day of you go for close to 30 receptions and over 400 yards in a two game stretch you can do whatever the hell you want haha

Would I rather have seen him do the wiggle dance in the end zone instead? Sure (I sometimes do a particularly poor rendition myself after an AB score). But the flip was sweet and he stuck it. The guy is a freak

But gymnasts are landing on a nice cushy mat. That is a great way to tear an ACL, and the way this season has been going, I hate that he is taking that risk. Just keep Gilbert away from him while he does it.

Even the Russian judge gave AB a 10 for sticking the landing!!

I have less issue with AB's celebrating, and more issues with the constant pleading to officials for flags every time he doesn't make a catch.

Granted, usually he hasn't made the catch because of pass interference, but still... I'm probably too old fashioned in that way. I preferred when players weren't appealing so blatantly.

    Minor gripe.

I was telling Steeler Friends after he did the flip that he has put some time into doing that move. Very nice execution on that flip. Quite amazing. But yes, if he blows out a knee, tears up an ankle ain't nobody loving that today.

How is that different than any other WR that plays. They always want a flag when they don't catch one.

Oh, it's not just an AB thing. But it's increased massively over the last few seasons.

I'm aware I'm pissing into the wind a bit getting annoyed about it, but still.

Reminds me of the time in the Movie Major League when. Willie Hayes basket catches a behind the back fly out.

Then Lou Brown the manager tells him. "Nice play Hayes, don't ever F-ing do it again."

Did anyone see the play in the Seattle/Arizona game where Russell Wilson fumbled and most of the defensive players were running around the field celebrating while the live ball was still flopping around on the ground? These guys are just ridiculous. I couldn't be an NFL coach, I'd end up committing murder, or I'd end up benching my entire team and having to forfeit every week. I couldn't tolerate that kind of stupidity.

The worst part is that all this celebrating crap is so common that nobody even mentions it when it happens. There wasn't one word it it during the Seattle game. It's ridiculous.

Normally I would hate this behavior, but he stuck the landing so well it's hard to be mad.

One can celebrate in a much smarter and safer way without putting the body in jeopardy. Its all fun and games till someone gets hurt. Were already plagued with enough injuries without inviting more! Thanks 84 for your contributions and talent. :applaud:

I do expect he will have a talk with AB. If the grey cells are working, I believe this issue was previously address a couple of years back?
