I think AB bleeds black and gold. He need to pock up a notch because when Ben got back...brown just automatically thought that it was gonna be business as usual and especially after that first drive...but Ben was true to form after an injury..bad game. He and AB will be fine

Out of curiosity, are you basing this off things you've seen on coach's film or just observations simply from watching games? I wouldn't say that AB has checked out at all but he has definitely not looked as sharp recently. The team hasn't really.

I don't believe AB is checked out, although it wouldn't shock me at all if he's given up on plays or half-assed routes when he thought he wasn't going to get the ball.

Do I think Brown is selfish? Yes. Do I think he's a prima donna? Yes. Do I think he's more problematic than a lot of other star WR's in the game? Nope. For whatever reason, the WR position attracts a lot of selfish Aholes. Like I've said many times, AB is not Heinz Ward and never will be. Ward never said a word when he was asked to run block on 80% of the snaps, and when he blocks, he really blocks

Yeah Hines understood the correlation, you block your backside off and the run game gets better and better, then opposing defenses stack the box and it opens up the passing game. I don't think it is any secret that the best statisical year for Ward was with Burress and Bettis with teams putting 9 guys in the box to stop the Bus. Maddox threw that ball all over the place to Ward and Plax so much so that they tried to become that passing offense the next year only to realize that the passing game was open because of Bettis and without the threat they could cover. Tried starting the run game too late and Bettis wasn't effective because he didn't wear the other team down early. It all feeds the machine AB, get with the program

When you are a supreme talent AB (uncoverable) they usually
have a large ego (AB). AB wants all the accolades all the time
and it just can't happen. He keeps putting up 100 + /season he
will want paid top dollar for his services. I like AB, he is one of my favorite Steelers
but just play the way you know how and things will work out for you. The Rooney's
already did an unheard of thing for you for this year. They will pay fair market
    value for talent.

I agree about being out of sync , but out
On both the TV and the ALL 22 looks.I gave him a bit of a pass playing with scrub QB'S , I still didn't like what I saw . I actually think he looked jealous when Bryant came back all the other players seemed more thrilled than AB when Bryant made big plays...You can also look at Miller getting no catches because AB was crying to get the ball threw his way ,the next week Miller tells him to just shut up and play ball and then Miller is the huge target....

If there is smoke there is fire , I fully expect him to hold out next year ....
