Probably not, since they already owe a 5th rd pick for Boykin and a 6th for Scobee. Maybe they can trade useless players like Dri Archer and Shamarko Thomas to get back some late round picks.

That supposes that other teams value them enough to give them a 5th or 6th for them. Thomas maybe DL would like him but why trade when potential cuts are cheap

I read Joe Staley 49ers LT might be available, he has a big contract though thru 2019.

Well, I gotta say, the Browns apparently announcing that both Joe Thomas and Alex Mack are available sure is tempting..

Apparently, Mike Tomlin is looking for a Field goal kicker who can boot it 65 yards so that he can try a 52 yarder. Heard he's flying out to Denver for some tryouts.

Stupid as Tomlin is I think he probably gets on the wrong flight and winds up in Mexico.

We can only hope. The authorities there could hold him for ransom money although I'm sure the rest of the league would pony up the cash to bail him out for us.

Long shot the Steelers being active towards the trade deadline.

In that remote case, we'd be shopping for a backup RB or a LT.
And the only players we can trade without risking stability at the position are Vick (injured) or S. Thomas (very limited experience).
    Both should draw little interest.

In case the Steelers are really desperate to get help (which IMHO isn't the case) our odd man out and biggest asset heading into the trade deadline could be Wheaton, having Coates waiting for a chance, AB and Bryant ahead of him, and DHB making his case for 3rd receiver. I can easily see the Broncos, Seahawks, Pats or Ravens interested in Wheaton (among others).
I wouldn't like the Steelers to trade him, but if our FO is looking for help, he's the only player (other than our Stars, which we won't be trading away) that we can offer to trade.

Couldn't even imagine what it'd be like for us to have Joe Thomas. That would be a win-win.

I really hope Dri Archer is NOT the backup RB going forward.....

I would kick the tires on some RB's.

Gosh I would hope so. There is enough talent on this team when healthy to make a deep run in the playoffs. My wish list would be one of the highest level LT's either Thomas or Staley and also kick the tires on Weddle from SD as a safety. With Weddle if I did trade for him I would ensure he would sign an extension with us before finalizing the trade to make sure he isn't just a rental.

Now if we really want to get crazy trade this years first and next year's second to Cleveland for Thomas and Mack. It is always fun to dream and pull these trades off in Madden... LOL!

Don't see us making any moves, realistically.

I started a thread about this very thing last night, GB. Unfortunately it got hijacked, but I'm with you, getting Joe Thomas (and/or Alex Mack) would be a game changer. Worth the price too if you ask me because Ben has a finite window left to win another ring. Thomas, Pouncey, Mack, Decastro, Gilbert left to right for the next 3-4 years would give us a great chance at more lombardis.

Love to have Thomas and Mack and I'd give a first in 16 and maybe 17 to get one of them with the Browns keeping bulk of the salary the only thing is how does Pouncey take the move. Well that how do they draft the next two years lol

I would like to know what the objective is for the clowns to put 3 of their best players on the trading block, dont tell me they are looking for 1 picks to draft another quarterback at number 1 next year, of course the way they are playing they just might be number 1 picking in next years draft and losing these guys will help them to get there quicker..

It's gonna get easier to route against the Broncos now.
    They're buying an All-Star team.
