AB has checked out. When he is not the primary target he is jogging . On the deep ball he didn't even make an effort to fight for the ball. On the Ben high ball he never even tried to extend to catch it .....He didn't try to make blocks in the open field on running plays. He dropped good throws by Ben...

The bottom line is we have seen the best of AB . I seen it in Wallace before he started his crap and AB is heading exactly the same direction...

Not sure I'd go that far PWP. Does he have a potential Diva personality, yes.... has he checked out, no, not in my opinion.

The pick over AB's head was Ben's fault and I'm not sure anyone could have done anything that would have made a difference in that play. Ben and AB will get more practice time and get their timing back. It does take some time to figure out after a month without playing (Ben). But I'm not sure I'm ready to say Brown has "checked out"

He didnt check out, on the interception his effort looked weak but maybe his momentum took him too far out of the play.

Its freaking hilarious, AB makes one little comment and now he's Wallace :lolol:

I dont ever recall Wallace working as hard as AB, it certainly didnt show up in his routes. All receivers are divas to some extent, AB has it in him but hes certainly not the worst.

That was Ben's fault because the ball was a bit high . The ball was not way high , Miller made a catch on a ball that was just like it earlier in the game. The ball only lands 4 yards behind Brown and it was clearly on it's way down... Brown made no attempt to reach for it or jump for it, meaning he was protecting himself and was not going to extend to make a play..Then after the pick a half ass effort to make the tackle dipped his shoulder and just watched as the guy bounced off of him and run...

On the other hand Bryant,Decastro,Willams, and Foster are making mad efforts to get the guy on the ground, the kicker is you never see AB enter back into the frame..

Its not just the one comment,it's his actions when a ball is not thrown to his liking . It's his route running when not the primary target. It's his blocking on running plays he looks worse than Wheaton now .

On the 10 second Ben scramble where was AB at then? Why is WJ the guy coming back to the ball ... I have not watched the all 22 look yet , but I bet you AB just gave up on the route and started standing in 1 place... Anyone at the game have any info on that ? He is simply to good to be guarded that long, effort is the only logical answer....

    I'm liking the intensity TTF.
New scary avatar and a knuckled up tude towards BS post.

no truth in getting banned for typing negative things on this board

    what we saw yesterday was
LITTLE BEN IN A BIG GAME (again)
DEEP THROWS LOOKING MORE LIKE PUNTS (again)
SILLY DECISIONS Ben should have ran instead of throwing to W,Johnson)
AB just not in the mind set of the game

there has been a hell of a buzz involving AB in a NON TEAMMATE light as of late
the boy received a 2mill bonus The Steelers stepped out of their usual bargaining by doing this.
    BUCK UP AB !!
he'll get his stats (as usual) and come this off season we will hear his disgruntled employee AGAIN if not sooner

That was a poorly thrown ball into double coverage. Brown didn't have a chance to break that up. I'd agree Brown didn't have his best game at all. He definitely looked human out there... but to turn on the guy after one or two poor games is a little ridiculous because as of a month ago he was the best WR in the NFL.

It appears to me that Brown maybe lost his focus a little bit in Ben's absence. Which you can't really blame him - I mean Vick couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from 10 yards away. I also think Bryant had a poor game with dropped balls and miss timed jumps. He had little separation on a couple of those balls that probably shouldn't have been thrown. The offense was out of synch probably from 4 weeks of being lost. Hopefully the WR's get their MOJO back soon. A month ago Brown was catching anything that was near him and was getting into the heads of corners because he was unstoppable.

No problem . I would say there is a 50/50 chance as of right now and with more mouth and more selfish play that will increase greatly in my favor . By the end of this season it will be a very popular topic ....

I don't think Brown checked out, but I do think that a healthy Ben makes him look better than he is. That can be said with most receivers though. Randy Moss never looked as good as he did before he played with Brady.

For me, a major part of what makes a player great is not only how they perform, but how they respond to adversity and if they give 100% effort on every play. That is why I personally consider Heath Miller to be a super star. That's why I will always consider Ward to be our greatest receiver ever, even over Brown. I don't think Brown is the diva that people are making him out to be, but I also don't see as drive in his mannerisms. I base that observation off of watching him jog back to the huddle as well as his interactions with his teammates.

What's more of a concern? A guy who works really hard, but occasionally sounds (to some people) like he's selfish, or a guy who just came off a 4 game substance abuse suspension? You think we'll part ways with AB when our only other WR with star potential is a toke away from a 1 year suspension? Oh... that's right, you see DHB as a pro bowler in waiting. AB is just in the way... smh

I just don't see it that way at all. AB has been a little off this season, but I think a lot of that has to do with the musical QB's
I'd be frustrated if Vick was throwing me the ball too. Most of that stuff about him complaining about not getting the ball was blown way out of proportion. Even the story about Heath telling him to stop complaining was told by Brown on a radio show. If it was some kind of a big deal and he was butt hurt over it I doubt he'd be on a radio show basically bad mouthing himself.

I wouldn't say a Healthy Ben makes him look better than he is.
More like a Healthy Ben lets us see Browns full potential.

Based on what? AB has seen what it's like to play without Ben. So now he wants to go play for a bad QB somewhere? The teams that have stud QB 's can't really afford him...

He's under contract for two years after this one. Unless we get a really good secondary player and a first round pick in return, AB is a steeler

PWP, all I know is we watch different things because I never agree with your evaluations.

As for your other post about being AB's last season, hes under contract still. His days as a Steeler will only end if the money is too high when he is a FA, not because any of this other imaginary stuff.
