Tomlin has consistently said he coaches from his gut and does not follow any guidelines. Maybe he needs a gut check. I also do not recall him ever saying he made a mistake, but I have to admit I don't pay that much attention to what he says. Ben always takes the blame for losses, but I don't recall the Tomlin ever does. Maybe I am just angry and nor remembering.

I am tired of his odd calls and decisions.

I've been blaming Tomlin for years. He has cost us numerous games over the years.

I really think this is why the Steelers are so inconsistent and have as many gut (no pun intended) wrenching defeats. They seem to fly by the seat of their pants more than having a game plan and sticking to it to the very end. Was Ben supposed to throw the ball 40 times coming off an injury? I think now. Even with Bell going down, Williams was running the ball well, yet they went away from it in a tight game with the D playing well.

I like gut decisions = gut wrenching. The flying by the seat of your pants is apt, too, as that has often been Ben's approach, so maybe he and Tomlin are a good fit in that way. No structure or plan - just wing it however you feel. Sandlot football - when it works, it looks great, when it doesn't, you look foolish.

Only bright spot was Heath catching 10 passes for 105 yards, as the score indicated it was a pretty even game statistically, the only thing that stopped us was the 3 picks, we out gained them rushing 116 to 78 in yardage, it was one of those games where we couldn't afford to turn the ball over, and we were unable to capitalize on their turn overs, it was one of those games where the defense played well enough to win, and the offense didn't, or should I say, Ben didnt...
