No week is a easy win. It will never be. Any given Sunday any team can win. Also, we aren't doomed yet. Relax, enjoy life and stay away from reel steal lol.

Well, that's certainly true when talking about the Steelers. One thing we SHOULD be able to agree on: When Ben went down and the team was 1-1 with the Rams game very much in doubt, a 4-3 record and a returning Ben (with Bell and Bryant) would have seemed like a dream. We should all be pleasantly surprised that the team has hung together long enough to still be part of the playoff equation 7 weeks in. If Ben is truly healthy, I feel good about our chances for the next 3 weeks (heck, I'll even say FOUR weeks including the bye). Especially since I'll be at the Cincy game in person probably wearing much of what you see to the left (it's near Halloween, right?) BUMBLEBEES RULE!

The season is still alive. The back ups kept the ship afloat.
Case in point look at the Dallas Cowboys. 2-0 to start the season.
Romo goes down. The team is now 2-4 and Romo still isn't back.
Their season is pretty much in the crap tank. Granted they have Dez Bryant hurt too.
But, the team kept the ship afloat until the captain comes back.

We have to realize that just because the captain is back there is no guarantee we are going to win every game.
But, #7 gives us the best shot.

It was expected. Plus starting a new qb, LT, no toot on defense and well... Can't Thomas.

It is easy to forget but the guys on the other side of the ball get paid also. While teams might be bad in terms of record, there are very few teams that are so bad that you can lose the TO battle by 3 and still win.

Problem is, did any of us really think Cincy would be undefeated?

...Tomlin can't get his team up for the lessor achievers of the League.

    Baltimore 1-5
    Kansas City was 1-5

In typical fashion, we continue to lose to inferior team year in and year out.

We can all agree that I wish our linebackers played like the Carolina ones did last night.

I really think with Thomas in the game they should have switched him in the nose tackle position and had Little mac play end. Thomas just can't move very fast or really get any driving penetration but he also wasn't moved off the line much either. Little mac has more quickness to him and I think he would have exploded off the end opposite Heyward.

I'm not sure about it but I actually assumed that McClendon did play some DE yesterday when McCullers was on the field playing nose. Maybe he didn't though.

I don't know, I didn't see any of the game, but I would like to see McClendon rotated in at DE when he would otherwise be riding the bench. Give Tuitt and Heyward a breather in those early game nickel situations.

One issue is fans like yourself believe the Steelers are a superior team in relation to most other teams in the league. That's simply not true.

The 2 lesser achiever teams you listed could be a few plays away from having winning records. On the flip side of that coin, the Steelers could be a few plays away from having a losing record.

I don't really believe in the idea of an inferior team at the professional level. Every team has the talent to compete. Different factors such as, turnovers, mistakes, injuries, poor execution ect can have an effect on the out come of games.

How does Tomlin's teams have an overall winning record vs teams around the league? Especially if his teams continues to lose to inferior teams in typical fashion?

Every year we witness teams with better records lose to teams with lesser records.
