You just know somewhere the 72 Dolphins are soiling their khakis fearing 3 undefeated teams snatching their pristine record this year. While I agree every Steeler game from here on out is a must win, I believe we also may have a case of premature explanation here laying out the cards at this juncture. Didn't Yogi Berra say "It's not over until it's...October 12th"?

 

I used to update the playoff picture for the last couple seasons since week 11. It was something close to a nightmare trying to figure out the outcomes and matches about all rivals, and how they affected our chances.
IMHO, let's wait until week 10, at least, to look into this.

Mathematically, any team that gets into that week (10) with a 3-6 record (or better), has still a chance. Some can argue that even 2-7 teams will be alive then.
So, my best advice: enjoy the next 5 weeks of football, hope for the best and, if we're still at 5-4 or even 4-5, winning out can clinch a berth (yes, I've seen our schedule).

Barring injuries, we will make the playoffs. If we can beat the Bungles twice, still have shot at division.

We are still clinging to the last wild-card spot but Miami is gaining ground and they own the tiebreaker because of our losing AFC record we need to root for the patriots this Thursday

 

Well having the Dolphins beat New England will only hurt us in the long run due to their better AFC conference record

 

It's way too early to be worried about playoff picture, after the win over the Cardinals some fans were talking Super Bowl .
