Break the pattern

The Steelers have a history of competing with good teams and losing to poor ones. So far there is still evidence of this - Ravens are bad (we lose), SD and Arizona pretty good (we win). KC will be a test if things have changed. Even with the injuries, we should be able to handle KC. "Should" has not always translated into "did" the last few years.

 

Hopefully things have changed this year, We wouldve killed Baltimore if anyone besides Vick was QB. Atleast we dont have that to worry about this weekend!

 

Without Dumb Dumb and numb foot they win the Crows game.

 

Looking at the Chiefs record and assuming this game is a gimme is a mistake.

 

We don't always lose to poor teams, its mostly that the Steelers let them hang around in games, when they should crush them by halftime.

If Vick leads a single solitary first down drive they win the game. I am getting tired of people acting like the Scobee miss was what sealed that game. No what sealed it was giving the Steelers the ball with a 3 pt lead with 2:01 left to go and the Ravens having no timeouts and not being able to advance the ball 10 yards with arguably the best wide receiver in the game, the best all around running back in the game, a tightend that has been a career Raven killer in the game and a running QB that should at least be able to scramble forward for 5 yards and not getting it done. They make a first down and the clock is their friend and it doesn't come down to Scobee kicking and Tomlin/Haley being complete and total idiots that half it is game over. Ten yards just ten yards and Vick is a hero. To spout a movie cliche Winners always want the ball.
