Steelers Sign A Lineman, IR Beachum

    As expected, Beachum has been placed on IR. The Steelers have signed OT Byron Stingily. Stingily played on and off in Tennessee while Munchak was head coach.

    OK, he could work out as a backup. I think I remember him from college. He played at Louisville, and I think he was somewhere on my lower round radar a few years back.

    Sadly pretty much anyone you sign off the street after week 6 is gonna be someone you've never heard of. If you were familiar with them, they wouldn't be street scrubs and they'd be on an NFL roster somewhere

    he did play LT in college. guard was a new position for him. it said if it came down to it gilbert would probably move to LT and hubbard to RT. i'm sure spaeth would be over there to help out.:cool:
