I said it a few times in the game thread:

Get this kid locked up long term NOW!

Sucks that you lost your job to injury, Shaun. But Bos thus far is clearly a superior kicker.

Awesome job in bad conditions. Feels good to have some of that confidence back in the FG attempts. Let's hope he continues!!

I don't know for sure. I think it's such a mental thing that most head coaches would rather trust a guy who's done it in the NFL before. Like no matter how promising a kid looks in camp, the coaches are thinking, "looks good but he's never done it under pressure".

Things are definitely looking up, and our desperate times in finding a kicker is paying off. Let's hope The Wizard of Boz can keep his mojo.

I want to see him make a game winner where if he misses, we lose and if he makes it, we win. Until then, Shaun is still my pick for kicker when he is healthy.

I love Suisham, but I don't recall him drilling a 50+ yarder anywhere near as perfect or pretty as Boz did tonight.

Where the hell did this Boswell kid come from? He's knocking them in like it's no big deal.

If you think about it, "Boswell" kicked his longest FG against the Cards from "Area 51" (aka the Bermuda Triangle of Heinz Field). I think we have a strange harmonic convergence happening here and I really like it.

As far as him kicking a buzzer beater game winner, every FG he kicked on Sunday was a game on the line type kick since how was he (let alone we ;)) to know that Landry would play like a grizzled veteran and toss two amazing TDs? Had Bryant not gotten his butt cheek in bounds on that superb pass and catch in the end zone, Boswell may have been lining up for his 5th FG which had he made it would have been the difference in the game. I think he was as clutch as a kicker can get regardless of where the clock was at the time.

I was impressed 47, 48, 51. Those aren't easy kicks on a wet and crappy day at Heinz field.

First time ever a steelers kicker hit 3 field goals from beyond 47 yards in a single game.

He will be our kicker for some years to come, unless the FO remains loyal to sushi. The Boz has a leg for sure.
