    I knew Shazier was a bit of a long shot, but was hoping he'd make it back this week. Sucks.

    What exactly is Shazier's injury anyway? I had thought it was a "stinger" back when it happened, but this is a long time for a stinger.

    It's just so dang frustrating. He missed a big portion of last season and he's already missed 25% of this season. His career is not off to a great start, that's for sure. He looked GREAT the last game he played but quite honestly he'd struggled in the few games he played before that.

    I'm just hoping he's not one of "those guys" who just can't stay healthy (Kendrell Bell). Why is it that some guys like Lawrence Timmons, James Harrison, Joey Porter, Jack Lambert and others never seemed to miss any significant time and others like Shazier can't stay on the field.

    Shazier has immeasurable talent, we've all seen that, but he's a smallish, speedy, linebacker who will hit anything that moves with reckless abandon. Everybody is big, fast and strong at this level.

    I hope Shazier turns out to be a perennial All Pro and I haven't given up on him yet, but it's getting frustrating seeing him on the injury report as "out" week after week.

    We should of expected he was going to miss another game when he started to say this week that it was up to Tomlin if he will play. I agree with most comments about 11 games in 2 years is not good. Also notice that most of his injurys are not of the serious type but more nagging bumps, bruising types of injurys. I could understand if he missed so many games with ACL type or other types of serious injury.

    I think he got away in college with no injurys but so far not boding well with the bigger, stronger, faster NFL players. Hope I'm wrong about this because we could use his talent but If I would not bet that he could go a whole season without missing games.
