Always better to play a QB the way he plays . Makes no sense to try and make him a quick read pocket passer . Almost every pass should be a sprint out , roll out, or Boot use his speed get him out of the pocket....

On 3rd. and medium and more empty the OL , no TE'S and no bunch sets, spread the D out create natural running lanes. This will create more 1 on 1's and easier throws ...

 

Only problem is this game is going to be a shoot out and we presently are not capable of competing in that kind of game, and vick going against arguably one of the better ball hawking secondaries is not going to bode well for vick, if we can get an ugly win in this game that would totally shock me more than that win against the bolts did......

 

I am surprised by the play of our Defense , I still think we lack NFL skill on the back end , but Butler has them playing well as a single unit and playing fast and aggressive . We will need Vick to play better , to do so we will need Haley to Coach better . The bu QB should not be the one drawing up the plays.

Vick did show he can still run, Vick also showed he can throw a better ball the deeper he throws it up to the OC to get that game plan together before the game .

 

The key to this game is controlling time of possession, we need to have long time consuming drives to keep the cards offense on the sideline, that's going to be key in this game, some turnovers would help a bunch as well....

 

Vick had some good moments on MNF, but he is wildly inconsistent and inaccurate.

I think Palmer is going to shred our secondary. Not feeling that great about this game to be honest.

 

The defense should know how to stop their offense.

On offense, we have Ben drawing up plays in the dirt, how can it fail?

 

Aaron Smith will be the Honorary Co-Captain for the game, that gives me a good feeling about it

i think they ought to have KVO day and carson won't come out of the locker room.

 

I'm not sure we shouldn't borrow a page out of the Flacco QB school...send the receivers long, throw it up and hope for a pass interference. I can't stand the fact that I just said that and I just threw up in my mouth alot! I hate that tactic but with Vic I don't know why we don't try it a few times. Now I have to go and wash my mouth out with a toilet brush.

 

And...they stayed the whole week in the east coast living it up at a great hotel with practice facilities, etc.

 

They have the top ranked offense scoring 38 points a game. Our defense will have a fight on their hands. No Shazier is bad but maybe worse is Wil Allen most likely out.

They have a very good defense and lead the NFL in int's . Our offense will need to play at its best.....with an eractic aging inaccurate Backup QB!!! Its looking like vick will start.......

Been reading on the cards forums, most are optimistic, I don't blame them. They will shut down Bell and force Vick to throw. Vick isn't good, he will get a couple picks. Our D will be gashed. We need Ben for a shootout and probably would win. 3-3 ain't bad at all, and I am not mad.

Of course if we somehow come out with a victory.... I like my crow baked with some bbq sauce.

 

I just want to get out of this game without any serious injuries.

I also think it would be a good time to see what Jones can do at QB. Once it's obvious that Vick still can't run the offense we should bring Jone's in. The coaches have to know winning this game is going to take a miracle. So I also fully expect to see some of Tomlin's best trick plays he can come up with. Should be good for a laugh or two.

 

lol yup haha. I say throw in Jones once Vick gets shut out the 1st half, but it won't happen.

I am mad about the Baltimore game. We should be 4-1 at this point and probably 4-2 after this week.
