Nope they wont. And the reason is those Teams don't have the WR'S that we do. When the QB gets on the edge it forces CB'S OR Safeties to have force or contain if you will . If 1 guy is responsible for that then 1 less in coverage . The Saints put that on display last night and found the hole the roll outs were creating .

The bottom line is if a Team doubles or brackets 1 WR and 1 DB has force some Receiver has a huge mismatch . Do you think any of their LB'S or Safeties can cover DHB ,Bryant, Wheaton, Bell, or Miller 1 on 1 ? I don't .And that's exactly what getting on the edge creates ...

I dont think they worry a lot about vick getting the ball to our receivers, AB is averaging a pitiful 40 yards a game, and they can handle vick out of the pocket....

If no one takes force he can simply turn it up and run for 8 or 10 yards every play . Someone has to take force ,this is what creates the space to throw it. If not just let Vick run for 150 yards. Our Offense should look like the Saints did last night . If it does Vick will be a lot more effective .

If we want to win with Vick then our defense better pitch a shutout. We can maybe expect 10-14 points out of Vick on his best day. So that means our defense will have to play out of their minds. Vick is so over due for a turnover its' not funny. He's got by on luck so far. I can think of 3 dropped INT's for Vick... a couple of those should have went for pick / 6's.

I think if we really want to win with Vick, he needs to be holding a clip board and we need to give Jones a shot. We know what Vick can and cannot do. So to think he can beat the cardinals is stupid. Jones should be more capable of running the offense and getting Brown involved.

You talk like the cards defense is just going to let vick run at will, they have a stout front 7 pass rush and a stout secondary to back it up, I expect vick to struggle against this defense more than he has in his other two starts, it aint gonna be pretty.....

Yea I think Arians is going to be very aggressive on 3rd and long's...and I expect we will see plenty of creative blitzes in those passing situations. They will also sell out to stop Bell as they know that's the only chance we have to move the ball. Vick crapped him self when ever he saw pressure. He did not respond to pressure well at all. Vick was also locking his eyes on his primary receiver. Any corner who picks this up is going to have an easy pick. As soon as Vick takes his eyes off the primary he starts looking around for Bell and he gets nervous feet. I saw a couple plays last week were he didn't know the play so he didn't know where Bell was.... standing there wide open.

On that play were Brown jumped on his ass... was another example of what I'm talking about. He locked in on the wrong WR and made a horrible throw... mean while Brown is running across the field right in front of him wide open. That's why Brown was so pissed.

I actually think we will see Landry for a series or two if not the rest of the game. Vick took a couple shots last game, Arizona will get a few good licks on him for sure.

IMO, the key this week is not Vick playing well - it's Cody Wallace.

The front 7 have almost nothing to do with Roll outs and sprint outs and boot legs . Vick can be effective in that way, he can not stand in the pocket and make reads .If Haley uses that game plan there will be huge trouble. The CB has to have force when you roll out ,again if he doesn't then the QB has 8 or 10 free yards.

So what I am saying is I agree they do have a great front 7 and good DB'S . They will be selling out to stop Bell. Coach Haley has to use that to our advantage and go PA Boot passing game . The key will be to get 3 on 3 out there . 2 WR'S running into that area from across the formation and the threat of Vick running forcing a CB to give up underneath help . Have those 2 WR'S running crossing routes at different depths helps the QB big time with his reads as both guys come into the QB'S line of vision at nearly the same time. This allows the QB to make a quick decision throw or run .This is the way you win with a Vick type of QB .

Here is the article explaining the same concept I was talking about.http://www.steelersdepot.com/2015/10/steelers-film-room-getting-vick-out-of-the-pocket/

If you look at that last frame you can see if you run that concept with no FB coming into the route and you use Twin WR'S instead of TE'S and I would run the single WR on that side on a seam route look at all the space there would be to throw or run into .Without the FB bringing his guy into the play Vick would have 10 to 15 yards to run and not get touched once he beats the DE .

Vick making a quick decision will be to run. That has always been his game. Again, to many Vick runs will result in seeing Landry Jones on the field. Vick has always been fragile and now at 36? I do appreciate your hope for Vick PWP but they need a balanced game in which Vick is not capable of.

I do believe this game could get ugly as well. The Defense will have come with the same mindset as last weeks.
