JJ emerges......................JJ retreats. Hope it's just a precaution.

Who's Shazier, I don't remember ever seeing him on the field?

No he was the unlucky straw winner of the carry Mike Tomlin's big balls contest. He put his back out carrying them.

Shame you missed his 15 solo tackle game, earlier in the year, when he hurt his shoulder...

Yes, I know you`re being sarcastic, but, for a change, could we maybe focus on players that have a chance at coming back this week, instead of criticizing players that got hurt, giving their best effort???

Sorta the same thing could be said about Legursky...

I thought he deseved to be cut, when we did cut him, but...

IF Wallace gets hurt, who takes over, till Pouncey gets back?

I think Legursky is the best option we would have...

At least he has prior experience...

Out of the "Limited Participation" list, I think there is a big difference between what Ben, and Ryan did(at least I hope so), and I`m not as concerned about what Cortez did...

I`m not sold on Cortez, but the front office must be...

I`m hoping Shazier is back this week, and Ben comes back sooner than expected, but, I still think he has at LEAST 2 games to go...

Cortez... Well, we`ll see if he matters, when he plays again...

    I ain`t holdin my breath...

I think the other two matter a WHOLE lot more!!!

    GO STEELERS!!!

Ryan Shazier=Kendrell Bell flashes greatness but always injured.

I find this statement ironic. After his first season, some were ready to christen Bell the next Lambert; we know how that ended. It would be similarly premature to state Shazier will be forever battling injury at this point, however frustrating his have been.

I'll probably get blasted, but maybe they should look to deal Shazier when healthy. I love th Spence and Williams combo and perhaps Shazier is too undersized for 3-4 defense and taking on all the blocks that required.

We are showing more multiple man fronts , I think the future is the 4-3 this will help him greatly...

Honestley, Im glad we have the depth we do, at linebacker...

I don`t differntiate between inside, and outside linebacker, like most do...

I just look at guys that can play in the middle of the field, stop the run, cover the recievers and get after the qb...

    Not necessarily in that order...

I want Shazier to get healthy, but I think we have plenty of talent behind him(or rotating with him)...

With Harrison, Timmons, Spence, Moats, Jones, DuPree, and whoevr I forgot about...
I think we will be fine, esp, with coach Butler sending everyone in the defensive backfield on blitzes...

We just gotta get back to pressuing the qb, and swarm-tackling the ball..

we have the speed, talent, and aggression to do it!!!

    GO STEELERS!!!:butcher::steelflag:

    Thursday injury update:

Will Allen did not practice: Cortez Allen, Jarvis Jones, Ryan Shazier, and Ben were limited. Legursky practiced fully.

I'm not quite ready to call Shazier injury prone just yet. More data points are needed. It is starting to concern me though.

I am not concerned yet with Shazier. He was very durable at OSU. My hope is it is more precautionary for Shazier to prevent other or compounding the current injury.

Maybe a good comparison. Once Bell hurt his knee in his second season it just kept getting injured over and over and somehow he managed to hang on till 2007.
