...besides the win...was the fact that it looked like home game for the Steelers... the cheering when Bell scored sounded like Three Rivers erupting for the win.

I live about an hour from San Diego and felt great to see the black and gold covering that stadium.

They showed one lower section of that stadium and I doubt there were a dozen chargers fans located along with probably 200 Steelers fans. Wonder what they were thinking?

Rivers even commented on it. Heard it driving home on the radio, saying it was a hostile crowd or not like a home game. Something to that affect. Nice work Steeler Nation!! Tomlin thanked them as well in the post game presser.

The best thing about this win was our defense. When is the last time our defense was able to shut down a good QB? I thought we'd be lucky to score more than 17 points. I was right about that.. but I also thought we'd need to score 30 points to beat the Chargers. The defense proved me wrong big time.

It's hard to get too excited about this win it was obvious we were lucky to get out with a win. We've been such a roller coaster team the past few years the second you get excited about a good win against a solid team we follow it up with a loss to a last place team. How do you lose to the Raven's then follow that up with a win to the Chargers? Typical of Tomlin's teams I guess.

Vick was putrid and we should have lost with QB play like that. I can't believe Jone's is not a better option at QB. If Jones is that bad then why is he on our roster? Our defense saved us from Vick. Hopefully they can do it again next week.

Bell looked great. Our new kicker looked great. We're 1-2 since Ben went down. I can only hope that we get Ben soon. I predicted 1 win with Vick at the helm. I think that's probably still a good bet. I'm afraid next Sunday is going to be ugly.

The Chargers may as well move to LA. That was a pathetic "home" crowd.

Hope they are able to stay, would be a damn shame. I hate seeing long standing NFL franchises leaving town.

Best part about the game besides the win was a nice 74th Happy Birthday present from the Steelers. Been a fan of the Steelers for 56 years and believe me some of what I see today is not so good but back in the day 50-60"s none of it was good. 70's we started to pick up the pace a lot and we all know what happened in the mid 70's.

Happy belated birthday Bettiss40! With Ben I think that games a blow out but it was great seeing the defense stand up and the offense show some ability to score. I was happy to see Ben on the sideline drawing up plays on his own; especially when it worked for a long touchdown!!

Actually, it was quite typical. Having been in S.D. county since 1968, I can tell you with all confidence, that there truly are only 10-20,000 fans of the Chokers. Now, with the blackouts being lifted, there will be fewer and fewer home town fans at the stadium. Hell, last week, there were almost as many Browns fans as S.D. fans. The Browns! When the raiders come to town, that stadium will be Black and Silver!

    The pressure on the qb...

It`s been there every game this year...

    Blitzburgh is definitely back!!!

Doesn`t always get there, doesn`t always work...

But, I am happy to live with the blitz, and die by the blitz!!!:thumbs up::butcher::dfense:

Keith Butler seems to be, also...

Keep pressuring the qb, and they will make mistakes, no matter if it`s Rivers, or Flacco, or Brady...

    Keep getting in their face!!!!

Now, just start wrapping up some tackles in the backfield, by the 'Backers, and I won`t have anything left to complain about!!!:dfense:(LOL.. sure I will...):lolol::drinks::steelflag:

    GO STELEERS!!!:herewego!:

Not sure why you think Vick was "putrid."

You must have missed Tomlin's postgame. Vick is actually a player with "unique talents", 15 years experience and besides all that he is pretty ****ing special. Haha.

AB is starting a new streak: 2 games in a row without 5 catches.

The most satisfying part was seeing Rivers getting mad. Entertaining, to say the least.
