Score a lot of points . They will bracket AB they have shut down every #1 WR they have faced for the most part . They will stack the box on Bell we will need DHB and Wheaton to take the top off of this Defense .

Chargers have real fire power esp. with Gates back now they will score a bunch so we better as well if we want to win.

Play sound defense. Sacks and turnovers. Do that and we win.

    Sorry this
No way.Rivers will throw for 350 plus no doubt about it . They have way to many weapons for this D to stop.

This is actually a big game for our playoff chances. Looking at the standings we really have no chance of winning the division. That means we are in a battle for a WC spot with the Chargers, Jets, and Bills.

The Chargers can score through the air. It's going to come down to our defense some how slowing down their passing game. Our offense will need to score 28-30 points to win this game. I don't like our chances. We do not match up well against good QB's who can make quick decisions. Rivers can be rattled so maybe the only way we stop their passing game is to get inside Rivers head...make him rush his throws. I totally expect them to come out with quick passes and let their receivers pile on the YAC. They're going to use NE's blue print as they are really the only team to beat us..and with out Ben that game would have been a blow out. With Vick at QB I think we'll turn the ball over and struggle to score. This game will be ugly unless Bell and our defense can save the day.

Rivers will have 400 with 3 td's. Need to score and get a turnover here and there. Control the clock if we can to keep defense rested and less opponent points lol

Agree. That's our most likely path to a win. Give Vick a few short fields, and avoid giving Rivers a short field. We need to be opportunistic. Pressure Rivers. Jump a few routes because he isn't the best deep thrower. Strip the rookie, Gordon. Yada Yada yada.

If Phillis throws for 400, we lose. Can't get into a shootout. Have to bring pressure with 4. Obviously rely on Bell and the short passing game to create YAC. Gonna be a rough one I see unfortunately.

I chose other....we need to take away his safety valves which are his TEs and don't make it too easy on him to throw it to his TEs as the pressure comes....

I'm thinking the same way. Turnovers can turn the tide in a hurry and if they get a couple that could really boost our offensive chances if things aren't clicking normally.

Yesterday at work I was thinking I wish they would work in some wildcat for Bell and then I thought "Nah that would probably be stupid but I'm desperate". Turns out I guess it's better to just be stupid. LOL.
