This team without Ben can't win. We were one week late in picking up Matt cassel

 

We are gona need Bell and Williams to have big games Thursday, Balt is o-3 and i damn sure dont want them to get their first win against us

You can forget about Williams. We will use him the same way we did with Deuce Staley.

 

I hate to admit that I only watched about every 3rd or 4th play after the injury but it's the truth. I had the instant reaction that the rest of our games became pretty irrelevant about halfway through the 3rd Quarter.

 

They're good, BFT, but the Redskins had two backs rush for 90+ yards against them and freakin Kirk Cousins was like 24-27 passing against them. Is the Redskins O-line that much better than ours? It must be

 

I think it was a bit of a trap game for them because they had just beaten Seattle and got really "up" for that game. Also maybe they aren't as good on the road too???

 

You're probably right. I hadn't thought about them having a letdown after an emotional win against the Seahawks

1 carry for 2 yards today. Pretty sure this will be the norm now that Bell is back. Sometimes I think coaches are idiots when it come to their loyalty for certain players.

 

Didn't even think about that, but it is kind of our M.O. the last few years.

Perhaps, just maybe Bell might be way overrated. 19 carries for 62 yards and a TD isn't exactly lighting the league on fire. LOL.

Williams stats were much better than that when he was playing the fill in role.

You have to be kidding me. That is such a ridiculous overreaction I feel like you must be stirring the pot just to get a rise out of people. Did you miss the 2014 season by any chance? I have to think you were on a really long vacation and didn't get a chance to catch any games based on that statement. Phillips Rivers had a lackluster game today too, maybe the Chargers should give Kellen Clemons equal playing time over there. What you are advocating makes an equal amount of sense.

 

Honestly Williams should have had more touches and bell should've been eased in... He's not in football shape. Is what it is and if they dedicate anything less than bell 70- Williams 30 %
in rotation speak, in my opinion is stupid. We can go 2 backs... We don't have to run Bell into the ground etc... Williams has looked pretty damn good and we totally discredited anything he did by leaving him out. Bell is superior but like I said he needed to be eased in... And Williams needs more than or 2 Snaps in this game... ridiculous.

 

Sure, Bell was great last season. Not saying he won't be this season but that 3.24 yard average today didn't warrant parking Williams on the pine all day long.

 

Then what on Earth would make you think he isn't still a great player? Did he become too old and past his prime in his 3rd year? Or did he forget how to play from last year? Or was last year simply nothing but a 16 game fluke perhaps? I am trying to understand how you could possibly make this leap based off today's game.

We are talking about his first regular season game since last year....just a massive overreaction. You sound like one of those guys who also gives draft picks about one game into their career to prove their worth before you start yelling for them to be cut and throwing out the B word. Sheesh. This is actually way worse than that because the player in question is already a star.

 

Castle may be worse than Vick.

 

Also if we can't win without Ben what we be the point of picking up Cassel? Just sayin'. LOL.

 

Dude that front 7 shut Lynch down too. They are good at home and not gonna give up a lot of yards. I think Bell can feast on rats Thursday. They aren't NEARLY as good as that rams front 7. It's all about matchups.

 

Williams may have done worse. I would have liked to see Williams get a few more carries, but you keep your best players on the field.

 

We are really gonna need Bell in pass protection. Vick looked like a dang deer in the headlights out there.

 

Yea, you're right.There is no possible way that Bell could be overrated going into this season. I mean with all the experts slobbering all over him and millions of FF'ers picking him 1st overall, there is no way he could be overrated.
