Ben has talked about this in the past but it has not been accomplished as of yet. So, can this team average that 30 points a game level? For these 2 opening games so far in this season they have an average of 32. That is without LeVeon, Pouncey, Martavis and Suisham in the line up. As much as I'd love to see it, I'd say that bar is way too high. Of coarse to achieve that there would have to be significant luck health wise.

I think it's very possible. If not, then damn close.

We deff can, but we wont. Some games they will play worse than they should.. it happens time and time again.. i diont expect us to score 30 pnts against the Rams

I absolutely think it's possible especially once they get all their horses in the stable. Bell opens things up some but once Bryant comes back things are going to be wide open. It's hard to double Brown with a 6'5" 225 lb monster on the other side of him. Throw in Heath and there will be a mismatch every time Ben drops back to pass. Also the threat of pass keeps 8 out of the box for Bell. It is completely pick your poison and there's about 5 different poisons to pick from. So far Wallace has done a good job in there for Pouncey.

I'd say based on what we've seen so far this year, that they're closer to that goal than ever. Once Bell is back, it should only get better.

I don't see why not, Ben has an arsenal at his disposal.

If everyone is healthy and they let Ben be Ben... I will go as to say 35 ppg.

Hope so. Got Steelers even for 5 and the over at 45 for 5. That sounds like a bet you would be all over.

Not average 30 a game - have no game under 30. His team scoring under 30 in any game will be a waste.

Barring injuries and/or suspensions it's very well possible. The fire power we possess is definitely capable of scoring 30+ points per game. But we also face some really good defenses in hostile environments such as Seattle etc.

Just imagine if we had a true move TE like so many other teams do, this offence would be unstoppable. We really need to invest in one.

I hope that bet is for the 1st. half and you will still probably lose. I think he will be closer to 300 than 100 ..

I'm just fine with Heath who IMO makes our offense more deadly then TE you know is only going to run routes. When Heath is on the end of the line the defense has to think is he blocking or is he running a pass route. I like real TEs and not WRs that say they are TEs.

Good point about a true inline TE. I like both styles it just depends on the scheme . I think Miller is a great TE , but I really see no need to invest in 1 . As I stated in another thread we have so much Talent at WR and at RB I have no problem with the Team going 4 Wide and splitting Bell to 5. Or going split RB'S and 3 WR'S . Or running my Empty Double Wing with DW and Bell .

Looking at it from a scheme point we really don't even need a TE, but I am very glad we have Miller ...

Yeah with the group of players we have now Haley has a ton of options and looks he can go with and once Bryant gets back I think we will start to see some stuff that will really keep defense's on their toes and guessing as to what is coming next.

All due respect on 30 points a game sounds good and may be achievable but unlikely. I want this team to be putting forth their efforts pursuing Superbowl 50. It's time and achievable!

I don't doubt that this is a possibility at all.

I think when we see a performance like this past Sunday where the offense looked flawless we begin salivating about what is possible or what should be. Keep in mind after the mind blowing performances where the Steelers put up over 90 points against the Colts and Ravens at home, it was followed up by a 13 point clunker against the Jets.

This offense is capable of great things, but over the last 10 years week to week consistency on offense has never been a stronghold of this team. Now that things have fully gelled (and should improve with Bell and Bryant coming back soon), hopefully that consistency will be realized.

I see bigger games then last year on offense. I believe we are better than last year.

For sure DWill is an upgrade, Bryant should be better, and DHB is playing well. The only place I would say we have gotten worse is the center position but Pouncey should be rolling come the playoffs.

While this is intuitively obvious - I'd rather focus on the scoreboard since stats can be SOOOO misleading - I'd rather look back at the end of the season after having #7 hoisting #7 and say "wasn't that amazing how we averaged well over 30 pts per game during our 14-2 regular season!"
