I said no dumb mistakes. We are better, and simply need to play (and coach) focused, disciplined football to prevail.

I went with shut down the run game. Make Kaepernick win the game with his arm and we can rest our starters by the 4th quarter. :thumbs up:

I went with keeping Kappy in the pocket. As bad as our pass defense is I think Kappy is just as bad, he can't beat us with his arm however he could with his legs. One other area that could be talked about is better safety play, this will be key this week with a good running game and a mobile QB.

Shut down Hyde and keep Kap from running all over. I don't think there will be the same communication problems in the secondary (nor on the headsets) and don't think Kap is capable of beating us with his arm.

Watching the tape keeping Kap in the pocket is a must . Any dual threat QB gets a lot more dangerous on the edge . I think he was like 10 for 11 passing last week on the edge . I wouldn't sleep on Kap as a passer he has a very strong arm , his problem is reading the D and accuratecy getting him on the edge helps him greatly in that regard...

Keep Kap in the pocket. I don't want to see any Terrelle Pryor replays. Hyde is going to get his yardage but we need to contain Kap to limit the big plays imo.

I was curious while elaborating this about how many of us thought our D was the key.

So far, most are pointing our D as the key to this game.
