yes they had there moments, but they did a pretty good job last week.

double D had a good game. run blocking they looked good. i hope it continues to gel as the season moves on. this is one group that the more they play together the better they will play week by week.

 

Agree they played well . Nice running lanes and pass protection was above the line ...

 

I was actually thinking about starting a Mike Munchak appreciation thread today. I thought the o line played lights out last week and even gave my gameball to Munch.

 

They did look good, but that wasn't a great front 7 they faced. This week will be a bigger challenge. If they play that well again I will feel much better. Wallace makes me nervous. You have a better eye than me, Mac. What'd you think of Wallace?

 

I agree their front 7 wasn't all that great but in recent years they would have still given us fits.

 

Very true, the line is much improved under Munch. Our best off season acquisition in a decade.

 

wallace is a solid center. not top of the line with mobility but he brings an attitude to the group. he's a give it all he's got guy. scrappy. i like him myself. we could do a lot worse than cody.

 

Yeah I like Wallace, too. I think he brings something different than what Pouncey would, definitely not as athletic but might be better against more physical dudes. Ideally would like to see a more athletic LG with Wallace in there, but not much we can do about it at this point.
