    Reasons:
    1. They didn't look all that great last night against Minnesota.

    2. Our secondary can only go up from what they did last week.

    3. Real steel doesn't feel good about beating them.

    4. I'll be at the game and I will not allow us to lose!

I only saw the last 16 minutes, but they looked decent to me.

Check that... Minnesota looked horrible. No way of knowing if SF was any good. :roflmao:

Hyde scares me a bit but he is a pounder and those backs don't normally give us a problem. Also the short week for the Niners and the long week for the Steelers helps out in that area as well. Kapernick is no Tom Brady and struggles on the quick passes from what I seen last night. He is always a threat to run but I would suspect Shazier is going to be spying him a lot.

Their Defense is better then most people are giving them credit for. Hopefully they're tired from the long flight but the last two teams from the west coast to fly in here beat us.
Oakland and San diego. So that myth goes out the window

It will be a close game but I FEEL we will win because Ben will not allow a loss lol. I think he comes out hot and our running game does enough. Our D will look a tad better. If we lose this game we probably go 0-4 but we got this. lol @ reel steel

No offense, but you're a walking jinx. Weren't you at that stinker when they laid an egg against Tampa Bay? I was feeling great about our chances, but now... :lollmao:

    • 9 days rest vs. 5 days rest
    • West coast team traveling to the east coast
    • We are the more talented team. If we hadn't shot ourselves in the foot 15 times, we'd have beaten New England. San Francisco and Minnesota were both jokes for most of that game.

I like our chances, too. Looking into my crystal ball, I actually see the D getting some fairly consistent pressure on Kaepernick with Bud, Jarvis, and Harrison all getting sacks while Gay gets at least 1 INT.

I think we win, and I honestly don't see it being all that close.

On paper, we should be a lock to win. Short week and west to east travel for them. Long week for us.

What scares me isn't the 49'ers, it's us. We always beat ourselves with stupid plays.

Plus Boykin will likely be playing this game, and according to some of the talk around here he is possibly the greatest DB we've had since Glenn Edwards.

There is literally no way we can lose, except for if we score less points than them.

Out of interest, Glenn, are you going to start a positive thread to counteract every thread from Real Steel? Because that would be awesome.

:this!: This, for years it has seemed that the biggest opponent the Steelers face is themselves. They have to limit mistakes and take advantage of opportunities. When they do so, they sky is the limit. When they don't, we have discussions about firing one or more of the coaches immediately.
