The Reality Is....

Even the announcers pointed out the defense had problems getting into the proper alignment, now that is basic defense 101....

 

I noticed that too, Edelman should've gotten a penalty for taunting. Unfortunately nobody on the Steelers defense did anything about it

 

J Jones had 1 tackle in this game, shazier had 7 tackles, you think jones is even worth keeping around for a 1 tackle average, even old man Harrison had more tackles than jones, if jones is going to have a solid year do you have any idea when he's going to start having it????

 

From what I have seen, agreed. Not strong enough, too slow, looks confused... Only so much you can coach that up.

 

Yeah, against the Cheats.

He played well, and against other schemes the stats will come.

 

Yeah, Edelman was very irritating. Was hoping that just once someone would get in a position to hammer the clown. Nope.

 

While I think that it's possible that Edelman was towing the line, AB does it too (and it drives me insane with that point and drop the ball BS). I am of the opinion that Edelman had every right to do it, because the defense couldn't shut him up. The best way to deal with a showboater is to make them a non factor in the game.

When AB does that it's not considered taunting though, refs will flag a player sometimes for talking trash after a play like Edelmanwas doing.

 

It would of been nice if a player on the Steelers defense drilled Edelman like when Ryan Clark destroyed Wes Welker a few years ago.
