Well that is true but hopefully they just aren't showing a lot of what they are going to do. Getting Timmons, Tuitt, and Mitchell healthy will go a long way.

We won't find out today. Doesn't look like there's going to be a settlement. Sounds like the judge is going to rule tomorrow or Wednesday.

It sounds like the judge is going to rule completely one way or another. So either he gets 4 games or none. Right now I would bet none, as much as that would suck!!!

Well I rather let Brady play. Either way we will get smoked by either qb, I rather there be a chance our D can rattle him up, even though unlikely. It would be embarrassing to read Jimmy lights up Steelers 45-38. lol

I still have faith ,but that faith is in the Offense , we will need to play from ahead and get Teams away from the quick passing game as much as we can . We will also need to be able to milk a clock and pound out long drives to close out games .

I'll be honest, playing against us is an insignificant point for me.

The guy cheated. He should be penalised. That's the bottom line. If he gets off, it will be on technicalities of process, not a clear-cut case that he didn't cheat.

For me, that fact shouldn't get in the way of any Steeler-specific bravado. One game is insignificant next to the seriousness of what a pro-Brady verdict would do to the integrity of the NFL.

agreed. Kinda how cowboys did it last year, just milk as much as you can on offense, makes your D look better. Thing is our D might actually be worse, and our O line isn't as good as theirs.

I would insert Holliman in there. Sure, he doesn't tackle but his main focus would be ballhawk. Just tell all the defensive players to go for the strip, D line to keep putting hands up for the tip, and corners to eye the ball. Our D will get scorched but at least increase odds for getting the ball back.

Yep why keep playing soft and just let Teams march up and down the field . As you stated be aggressive and look for turnovers. With the level of talent the D has that is the best approach. The problem is I don't think the staff thinks the skill level is that bad. Our DB'S are a joke really only 1 of them should play and that's Gay he should be the dime CB , which means we need at least 5 more better than him...

I think the Offense will be fine as I stated. Bell nor Bryant could help the play of our Defense . We still have a lot of fire power Williams is a good RB ,AB,Wheaton,Coates, Miller we have enough on that side of the ball.

I believe Brady will play. If Berman rules in his favor, then an NFL appeal will not stop him from playing unless the appeal is successful down the line. If Berman rules in the League's favor, Brady and the NFLPA will almost certainly appeal, and the court will almost certainly stay the suspension until it makes a final ruling. The only realistic chance of him not playing week 1 was a settlement IMO. Saddle up.

I'm OK with Brady playing and I think that is the way it will go. After watching the pre season games and considering the players not available for the game, I decided no matter who plays QB for them I am placing a good size bet on New England and giving the Steelers the points. Depending on the over/under I might bet the over too.

A loss week 1 means nothing if the Steelers win the Superbowl

This is an honest question. Have ANY of Real Steel's predictions EVER came true? I mean literally just one.

Well, he expresses sentiments of meaninglessness in order to make a broader point, which by definition gives the meaninglessness meaning. So given all of his predictions are paradoxes, he's off to a bad start.
