Steelers Sign Michael Vick

I was more than a little ticked off at Ben a 1 time incident he could be innocent but 2 times for the same thing,well you tell me,,, I really thought they would get rid of him and would have been OK with it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I have watched this team from 1968 or 69 through the good the bad and the ugly times I have not always approved of what was going on they have not had a draft in 10 yrs that I really thought was good, I am not a Tomlin Fan we have done alright with him but where would we be if he had not inherited a Super Bowl ready team(I think we would still be sitting at 4 rings),,, this is just a phase the team is going through it will pass,as long as Vick stays off the field in my eyes only all will be just fine even if he comes in to mop up,but if Ben goes down that is when I will be hoping someone blows Vick up and puts him out of the game never to be seen or heard from again

win or lose it still matters to me,it is just the thought of that Dirt bag being on the field on my team,,,I could not enjoy the game even if he is not playing

 

I've been trying to be a better person and to be more forgiving. Then I look at the current crop of rescue dogs I have and forgiveness isn't working.

Maybe I need a one on one with our resident preacher?

 

What you have done and are doing with the rescue dogs is great. Keep up the good work.

 

All I can say about the fans; is get over it, it's a done deal, worry more about this team getting to where they need to be to compete this year and move on...

After watching the game against the Bills and considering the recent rash of injuries, I think I have it all figured out:
1. The Steeler D showed their silent protest to the MV signing by completely laying down and allowing the Bills to run up the score with four different QB's completing 91% of their passes.
2. Hartley, Pouncey, Timmons, Tuitt and others are just faking their injuries in protest.
3. Bryant lit up another bong in protest knowing he'd get suspended. (Bell drove stoned last year just in case the Steelers signed MV this year).
4. The O-line tried to lay down as well but MV fooled them and rolled out left for each of his completed passes - when he stayed in the pocket he got smashed.
5. It's apparent special teams were in on this as well with the pathetic returns on KO's and punts and kicking defense.
6. Other than me (and in hind sight I wish I hadn't) - no one in Steeler nation watched yesterday's game and only checked in later to make sure they lost and lost big. What a thrill they must have had!

 

Didn't want to start a new thread so I figured I would just ask the question here,anyone know why most of the starters only played for a brief stint in a game that they usually get the most reps? Injury concerns ?

 

Every time I hear that stealing my co-worker's paper clips is the same as murder, I get more and more excited to meet this God guy. I also like your system of "He does the judging, not us, so let me tell you what to feel."

 

Suggesting that people need to 'think about' a point that has been discussed in detail time and time again in this thread is a bit odd.

 

.....and I didn't want to go to another thread to answer you but I believe the Buffalo announcers said something in passing yesterday about several first team Steelers only playing a few sets because of their extra long pre-season (HOF game). But as I recall very few first teamers actually suited up for the HOF game. Go figure.
