Steelers Sign Michael Vick

Whoopityflip. Hopefully he doesn't see any action outside of the upcoming scrub games. I can think of a handful of other options that would have been a better choice. Let the circus begin.

I think it was more of a PR move in some obscure way then a sound personnel decision.

 

If Ben goes down it's going to be hard to root for this guy.
Oh well guess I just have to trust in the Steelers that they know what they're doing.

On another note it's a shame that HugeSnack won't be around anymore. I really enjoyed reading his posts. Maybe he'll change his mind?

Well TTF I think half of Steeler Nation that WASN'T already members here might sign up just to voice their disdain so there's at least that. LOL.

 

This could set up one strange locker room. I'm sure on the surface everyone will try to play the political correctness game but deep down I'm sure some players will not like this move at all.

Way to have a backbone Rooneys. They just had to allow Tomlin to sign his thug crony. Absolutely disgusting. I hope Suggs snaps his knees on a read option play and ends his career once and for all

If you honestly think the Rooneys would let Tomlin do this if they had a problem with then you haven't been paying attention. At the end of the day this was the best football move they had. I would say it took backbone to sign him knowing that some fans would be upset.

 

I lost about all respect I had for the Rooneys and Tomlin.. For the Rooneys to put their fan-base through this is despicable. I really thought they were above that. Just another typical NFL owner. Win at all costs, make as much money as humanly possible, and don't give a **** about anything or anyone.
