It's been reported on Twitter hat he passed the physical and is set to sign a one year deal.

Rape or torture - call it what ever you want. It's just semantics at this point. And what does him working out of philly have anything to do with Pitt? There's a reason why we are not philly fans.

I saw that, but haven't seen one single mention from a local reporter or source. It's probably true, though.

What does the team do from a roster standpoint? Grad to IR?

I would say they cut Doe and wait to see on Grad till its final cut down day, either that or that CB that they cut and resign every other day

You're not a Steelers fan are you? I don't mean that as an insult, just wondering who your team is. The Bears?

No, the eastern side is fine with Vick, and even that's a stretch. I know many philly fans that were disgusted with the signing. And what does being a PSU fan have to do with anything? I'm a PSU grad myself and currently live in State College.

Good question. I would say keep all 4 QB's for now and waive someone else. We can wait and see with Grad until the last minute. If we IR him, that ends his season right? I was assuming there was a way we could keep him until he's healthy and then waive Vick when Grad returns, but maybe not.

That's a good question my guess would be they hold onto grad and see how he progresses. They may not have a lot of hope for him considering a back up gets most of his work in the preseason and Grad didn't have one.

This will at least get to go into the Steeler history books along side some of the greatest gaffs in Steelers QB history, Unitas, Marino, Montana, Malone, Kent Graham, NOD, and so on. You have to admire the consistency.

I think you have to waive Bruce. we can't keep 4 QBS on the roster, too many other positions of need. I mean it isn't like there is a line of teams waiting with baited breath to snag Bruce off waivers. He'll still be available if and when we need him.

I don't know I might be in the minority but they should let Grad go and keep L J ,if they sign Vick. I have no faith in Grad winning us a game either, his first inclination is to run out of the pocket with the slightest pressure. I don't like what I've seen from him even on a limited basis.

Yeah I would be fine with that and the way they have been chopping heads this year it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Way to go Rooneys.. You just killed whatever mystique the Steelers had and created tension between the team, city, and fans . They're just another football team that happened to win more than a few titles. Hope Tomlin's little rehabilitation project is worth it. I hope he and Vick are both gone.

You see this is what I see changing about the NFL. More people with character issues every year. I don't have any statistics too prove there are more undesirables in the league than at any other point in history. Just going by what it seems like ... Same goes with politicians. I am not going to talk about politics TTF.. hehe. As time marches on it becomes harder to find people of high moral character. This signing is a poignant example. The Rooneys would have never signed anyone of question moral character previously.

It's getting very difficult to find quality players without issues.
