I don't know how much influence he's having, but Jones looks better this year, and Dupree is stepping it up. There's a nice aggression-to-execution ratio going on, which is very much reflective of how Harrison plays. I was sceptical about bringing him in last year, but this year he actually looks better.

After an 80 yard shelling, James set the tone on the next series, and from there the D woke up. Rodgers got buckled on that sack.

Dupree impressed me and should see more playing time. Jones showed finally a nice bull rush. James set the bar and the young guns followed.

If nothing else, I'd like to hear stories about how JH is inspiring the other young LB's with his work ethic and such. He's a beast, but the long season usually hurts these older guys stamina and such. Heck, between Harrison and Porter.... there really shouldn't be any intensity issues in the locker room :towel:

Sure glad that silly argument going on this time last year has finally been squashed. Finally the naysayers have all come around.....

I can only imagine what was going thru Silverback's mind after the D gave up the 80 yard TD drive during the previous series.

Not really sure but I don't believe he was on the Field for that series. If he wasn't he was probably ready to show those youngins' up.

,keep in mind it's still a vanilla D... And might even be a vanilla D if we don't have the talent and execution come games that matter, but yesterday on that drive was sickening with Lacy running up the gut untouched!

What he is doing at his age is nothing short of remarkable. He's a freak.

It was sickening. Shredded. I like the fact that Butler called the house in the next series and Harrison showed why he is on this team. The defense is going to be a work in progress but I have seen some improvement sans the 80 yard beat down.
