According to my highly scientific data, the Steelers more often than not have appeared in a Superbowl at the end of each decade.

    X - YES
    XX - NO
    XXX- YES
    XL - YES
    L - ?

    It's looking good boys.

I like it. I'm only about 2 hour drive from Vegas. But, Latin has been dead for nearly 2000 years. Get with the program NFL - this should be the LOL Bowl

Actually the NFL is foregoing the roman numerals for this Superbowl... it's gonna be called Superbowl 50

Hate to break it to you guys, but I was just informed my hours were cut back.

Now the good news personally is that it means I won't have to work any Sundays so I get to watch the games live!

The bad news is that my company has done this 3 times in the past. We're 1 for 3 even GOING to the playoffs when they do. And that one time was last year!

Really hoping we break that jinx this time...

Makes sense. Surprised they didn't convert earlier - say at SB 25. A little journey down memory lane - I had just moved to LA in mid-60's when SB I was held at the LA Coliseum. The game was blacked out in LA (needed nearly 100,000 to sell out back then and they only sold about 20,000 tix I believe) so the local rock radio station in Pasadena, just down the street from Cal Tech and JPL procured an impromptu long range TV antenna design from the space geeks involving metal coat hangers and aluminum foil to pick up the TV broadcast from Santa Barbara about 90 miles away that they distributed at various grocery stores and gas stations. In spite of their best efforts, the game broadcast that day produced the most snow ever observed in LA. Now you can watch the game on your wristwatch or eyeglasses. Damn.

    wouldnt "end of decade" imply 10s 20s 30s 70s 80s ect?

maybe it should be a "every 10 years" idea.

Yeah, I'm using the term Decade as a group of 10's Superbowls and not in a group of 10's from the year of our savior and such and so on and what have you....
