Has anyone else seen or will be seeing Van Halen's 2015 tour? I'm a huge VH fan and my wife and I just went to the show in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio this past Monday. It was my 4th time seeing them (but my first time seeing them with DLR), and it was an amazing show.

Kenny Wayne Shepherd opened up and was pretty amazing, too.

That's cool. KWS signed my Strat and I still have a picture of me and him together when I was like 18 years old. I've seen him a few times. Never saw VH and never really was a fan but I respect what they did. I've heard A Different Kind of Truth was really divisive among fans. The VH stuff I actually like the most is the Hagar stuff just because it's more technically proficient but the DLR stuff really "rocks" more ya know? It's like that sleazy Rolling Stones type rock and I don't mean that as a slight. It was what it was meant to be.

Yeah, I like all VH stuff. I even like the album they did with Gary Cherone, but I do have to admit it doesn't sound much like Van Halen, so I get why people hated it.

The Hagar era had some amazing tunes that are some of my favorites (5150 is one of my very favorite VH albums), but I'll always love the early stuff.
