Good bye Isaiah Lewis. At least we will get to see some of his big hits before he is cut again.

Definitely my least confident position on this team. Shark and Mitchell need to work on their chemistry. Still early though and hopefully the injuries are healed by the week 3 preseason game. Luckily we still have steady Will Allen to ease some of the pressure.

I'm really going to try and key in on Holliman on passing downs and see how he does this Sunday. And the tackling of course.

Ian Wild might be someone to really watch. He's really the only "big" guy thy have in the secondary.

I was going to mention Ian Wild. I wondered if he was going to be this year's Jordan Dangerfield.
Now, of course, Jordan Dangerfield will be this year's Jordan Dangerfield, so Wild will have to be someone else... let's hope it's Troy Polamalu.

I will be watching to see if Holliman can make those last line of defense tackles. I don't expect him to be a thumper I do expect him to make plays on the ball and to get guys on the ground when there is no one else left to help. He will never become a great run supporter he just needs to not give up the big play .

Just play the way a deep Safety is supposed to play contest all long balls and never let short routes get by you and run to the house. Grab something and hold on that's all he really needs to do.

Don't be surprised if Will Allen starts the season.

Yep. For me, the skill of the deep safety is getting the angles right first. He has to just be the obstacle to the finish line. It's something that Mike Mitchell struggled a lot with last season - hopefully there's improvement there this year.

I hope we have a lot of improvement with Angles as well ,as you stated Mike was poor at it most of the time.
