Robert Golden Had A Significant Leg Injury Today

    Golden suffered a significant leg injury in practice today. Several onlookers said he was writhing/screaming in pain. Tomlin called it a significant injury and said that he was still being evaluated.

    I guess it's time for Lake to come out of retirement. Seriously do we even have enough safties left to practice? The back up spot is now clearly Holliman's to take.

    Cutler plowed him. I have a buddy that's a Bears fan and he has mentioned that a million times and I've always been like "dude that guy spends more time on the bench than the field". Who else drilled him? I can't remember the other one.

    i can't remember who ran him over after cutler. i'm pretty sure it was last year, but i do remember a flashback to the same type of trucking for him by someone that shouldn't have. i thought OMG that's twice now and your a safety for the pittsburgh steelers. stop it! anybody else remember the second one? i know it happened. :cool:

    I'm happy for Golden that the injury appears minor. I hate seeing any players get injured, Steelers or otherwise.

    However, I also need to say that if Golden is a guy that we need to rely on for significant snaps this season, I think our secondary is in a bit of trouble.
