After watching 2 clips, i then opened all 6 simultaneously to get the feel for some action and noise. I never actually witnessed OTA's so it may been the norm or they were winding down for the day. Good to see them on the field.

 

It's football in shorts. Kind of hard to get excited about no mater how much you like football. I don't even get excited about training camp so this isn't going to cut it. Real football starts in September.

Just read Geathers has passed Thomas on the depth chart. Reading what all he did this off season its no real surprise though. Mitchell specifically asked for him back and he did what was asked of him dropping 50 pounds. He's now roughly 6'7" and 306 pounds. May be just maybe there is a hidden depth gem there.

 

Also our second string line right now is 6'6" Walton, 6'7" McCullers, and 6'7" Geathers. That's a bunch of fricking oak trees out there.

Feathers would be an welcome surprise. They're all big but not strong. Go work out with Debo...while you have him

 

As much as I'd love to believe this, the depth chart is solely for practice purposes at this point... we'll have to wait for training camp to see if prayers have been answered.

 

i'm not writing conrath off yet either. he's a big boy too. hemmer played pretty well last preseason too. i'm not sure anything is etched in stone as far as backups.

 

Cam Thomas days appeared to be numbered, good riddance to him and his 2 million salary.

Season needs to start fast.

The thing with arena is, I can just never remember if the walls are in bounds. It's a good job the commentators remind me on EVERY SINGLE PLAY.

 

guess I'm the only one but the summer weeks are flying by for me, I've been hard pressed to get on here. That Hall of Fame game will come quickly, and training camp before that. It should be an interesting summer.
