2015 NFL Draft Discussion Thread [No Steelers Spoilers]

C'mon you're not used to that yet....

while I totally get we would all probably like to have two more inches one way or another ,it's funny the drastic difference in reaction towards our CB picks. I get that Golson might have come a little early for some I think however now with the addition of Grant, Golson becomes a even better pick because now we can focus on using him on slot receivers where he should excell. Liking the draft so far,all we need is a TE a FS and maybe some interior D line help. Time to take some chances on some boom or bust types,roster is filling up quick.

 

Ifo's knee must be decimated. THere are a bunch of solid football players left on the board. Would love to see the Steelers trade up here.

 

Ifo's injury is obviously pretty bad, cause he's falling like a rock. But I would still take a flyer on him if he's there in the 6th or 7th. Triple dip.

Some people hate the Golson pick, but if he were a couple inches taller he would be a first round pick. I like the selection the kid can ball. Grant is just icing on the cake.

 

I kinda wanna roll the dice on Collins now. Wee got our 2 cbs, olb, and wr.

 

If I were the Steelers I would be on the phone with Collins and try to convince him to accept being drafted. Such huge upside with him and in the 5th he would be a STEAL.

 

if they last til our pick, I would take a flyer on ajayi, or even hundley (got to find a way to move on from landry jones)

Okay I was gone a while, talking with my Writer friend who covers the steelers, and he tells me that do NOT be surprised at all if the Steelers might be targeting OLB " DAVIS TULL of Tennessee=Chattanooga. He said that they LOVED him. He told me that Pittsburgh thinks he is a Steelers type of OLB with Incredible Athletic skills, as well as production in school. I will be honest...I wasn't aware of him, but I know he was hurt at the combine with a Hamstring, and had a bad shoulder, and still worked out. I never saw anything on him, but he looks the part. My friend says that there are other teams looking at him, so that is why he said that Pittsburgh might take him in round 5...even though he said they were hoping that they could in round 6.
