And please please my fellow Steeler fans, I am NOT being a A0Hole towards Golson...I am just having some fun..Innocent fun I hope. But I like the guy. Definitely has great Character, and a LOVE of the game cause he turned down a signing bonus of over 1.5 million from the Red Sox back in 2011 to play Football. So yes he is a little short...but you can't measure a players HEART and determination with a Measuring stick.

One eye here, the other on the Pirates game... what a night Burnett is having. 5 inning shutout and produced the only run of the game so far...

 

Well to be fair, that was 12 years ago. I just don't think Colbert is effectively building this team anymore especially through the draft. Other teams seem to make plenty of moves and get playmakers and more picks because of it, but we seem to always have an excuse on why it couldn't happen. Not expecting everything to pan out but for once in 12 YEARS it would be nice to see the Steelers make some moves to grab a difference maker at a position of need or some extra players. I do not see why anyone would even argue with that.

 

Put character issues as part of the contract. You screw up, make it cost him. Sometime taking a chance on someone, creates some loyalty too. Think we all agree, our secondary is looking mighty thin and weak. If theyre not going to build the secondary, build a damn offense that is going to put up 1000 pts a game. Not a offense that kicks a FG everytime it gets in the red zone.

 

I agree. If he's there for us we gotta take him.

 

I'm sure NFL QBs will miss their receivers by a mile like the QBs he faced in college.

I just used the polamalu example because he was obviously a huge pick for us that we moved up to get. But we have moved up for shamarko Thomas a few drafts ago as well. And I'm not arguing that we shouldn't make those moves. I just think they're really keen on keeping most of their picks for this draft. I don't think they are willing to part with them unless it's for someone they absolutely feel that they need to have. Just a sticky situation this year cuz we need immediate help but we also need depth at various positions.

Alex Carter? Holliman scares me this early. I guess Carter could play corner too. Williams still around. Is Nelson still available? I have absolutely no idea what we are thinking here
