I like D'Juon Smith more then Rollins personally. But we shall see. I can't Imagine this place if it's NOT a CB!!

Why if they had the 22nd pick, did they not have the 54th pick (32+22)?

    PJ Williams

    Cons:

    • Busted for DUI 4/3/2015
    • 4.57 forty time at Combine was concerning
    • High-cut athlete; could stand to lower pad level in back pedal
    • Doesn't play as well in space; played almost exclusively bump-and-run at FSU
    • Very physical and handsy; will draw penalties at next level
    • Can be overly aggressive; needs to cut down on false steps
    • Fled scene of accident in unusual story, but only resulted in traffic violations

    Overview
If you like physicality out of your cornerbacks, P.J Williams is your guy. No cornerback in this year's draft is nastier, more physically and mentally intimidating than the Seminole corner.
Like all FSU corners Williams is well schooled in the bump-and-run game, using a strong press off the line to throw off timing and then pinning his man up against the sideline with no room to run. You can feel comfortable with Williams one-on-one in coverage, but undoubtedly he hangs his hat on being one of the better run supporting cornerbacks you'll see come out of college. His willingness and joy in blowing up blockers and ball carriers will put a smile on any coaches face.
Williams is not the fastest corner, evidenced by his 4.57 forty at the combine but he typically does not put himself in positions where he's in straight foot races with receivers. If you're concerned about Williams' athleticism after the Combine I'd just encourage you to look at the tape. He has much faster game speed and quickness than he put up at Indy in shorts.
We believe P.J Williams to be a top fifteen talent, but his recent DUI arrest definitely hurts his stock and probably pushes him out of the first round.

I find it laughable that anyone would suggest that Ike has good ball skills. Maybe we're defining it differently. To me when someone says he's a good ball tracker that suggests he has good ball skills. IMHO, Ike has never had good ball skills.

Colbert outplayed again. It seems we keep guys around for loyalty or tradition or something, we need to focus more on being a good football team instead of the "good ole steeler way". Colbert has been a letdown for the last 4-5 years and he just gets out maneuvered every draft.

Tracking skills was the argument.. Not ball skills.. Ike stone hands Taylor has never been able to catch the ball but he had great tracking.. Always in the play

Eh, I think his tracking skills were suspect as well but I respect your (wrong) opinion. ;)

I think he tracked his man well, but not the ball.

I was wondering the same thing.

I'm sure there is some reasonable explanation other than the fact that Gooddell hates the Steelers.
