Well at least Dupree seems pretty big but does this say anything about Jarvis Jones? I noticed Mayock mentioned him.

It is a area of need and he is exactly what you're looking for size wise and athletically. The knock on him seems to be football IQ,hopefully that was due to having to play multi positions in different defenses. The measurable are useless without the football brain to get it done. Welcome to Da Burgh Mr. Dupree....this Buds for you.

Hopefully between the two of them we end up with a good pass rusher.

Through my very limited quick research and please correct me if I am wrong bud is a perfect fit. He can drop he can move but I don't like his first step. His first step on the snap seems like he may be easy to engage. Also because of this it may make him a run liabilty and be able to get pushed even though he has good size. He doesn't seem to attack the line but the ball carrier. Attacking the ball leave holes in schemes.

Anyone any thoughts? Please let me know different.

Should we have seen this coming? I mean the NFL.com has an article talking about how KC thinks this is one of the deepest drafts for linebackers should it come as any surprise that the first round pick is a LB lol. Say it aint so Joe

Timmons has never seemed to have a high iq and he has been solid. I seriously just want somebody who lives to kill quarterbacks. I want the nasty back.

I think instincts and awareness may be the issue with Dupree.

Yeah, he's been a lot of peoples lists for a long time. The thought though was that he had risen beyond our reach after his great combine.

:this!:That's what I like about the Dupree he has the size for a 3/4 OLB, he's not a skinny weakling like Jarvis who still needs to bulk up going into his third season.

No I just thought it was funny that he talks about how deep the draft is and we had to know that choice between OLB and CB he is going OLB lol

Nothing Dupree is a ROLB big enough to battle the normally more powerful RT.

Me too. It just kills me that other teams are able to run the ball right down our defense's throat. There is no fear in our defense anymore, we need NASTY back.

Hope Bell didnt see the 'This bud is for you comment.':roflmao:
