    Let me make one more rule clarification - to match team and player, the team that makes the selection is what counts. There are rumors out there that Cleveland is working with Philly on a package that puts Mariota in Philly and Bradford in Cleveland. If Cleveland drafts Mariota and trades him to Philly, Cleveland is the team that drafted him regardless of what happened after. I think that ambiguity needed to be cleared up because of the weirdness that's rumored to be in the works...

    You got that right!

    I thought it was tough trying to keep two teams needs in mind on our message board mock draft, but this was nuts!

    Trying to blend each team's needs with who is available was hard enough. Then factoring in BPA over need, team's past tendencies, intra-divisional/intra-conference rivalries for trade scenarios, etc, etc, was enough to make me say enough is enough and just throw a name out there.

    But it was fun! Too bad we can't/don't do this for a living. I think some of us here put more thought/effort into these things than some of the paid experts out there. And that's on top of a regular job...

    It was reported yesterday, that Cleveland offered the titans both of their 1st round picks at the 12 and 19 spot for their 2 pick, rumor has it that the titans are holding out to get the browns 1 pick next year as well, unlikely the browns would trade mariota to phily after paying this price to get him...Heres a thought for ya, if the browns get mariota it's unlikely they would keep manziel making it too difficult to groom two raw QBs at the same time, so they could trade manziel to dallas, sounds crazy huh? But what if the bucs take mariota instead of winston with their 1 pick, winston could go into free fall and end up a mid round pick, crazier things have happened in the draft before, thats why we watch it ......

    Winston isn't falling anywhere, nobody is taking Mariota over him, certainly not Tampa who all but confirmed he is their pick earlier today.

    Just imagine if Winston isn't the pick tonight. The draft room will be in a tizzy, and it will probably spawn a few surprising picks/trades.

    I'm not in love with my mock, but it's too much work to tweak it. I just tried, and ended up going through the same type of second (and third and fourth) guessing. Not worth it. Win or lose, I'm rolling with my gut from last night.

    I freely admit that I stole this from some link off of google, minus a few modifications. In all reality, I expect the Browns to trade their entire draft to TB in order to get Winston. Browns then give up next year's #1 to the Raiders just so they take Johnny College Football from them.
