We usually call it off by the draft. Still have a little time to finish this rd but looks like the 5th will be the end of it. I think thats when it usually fizzels out.

When do we decide who won?

I was about to nominate myself, but the Steelers actually did incredibly well. Our top two picks have both skyrocketed in real life, and now seem like major steals, where they didn't at the time. I also like the other 3 picks. I'd be very happy with this draft.

I haven't had the chance to look at all selections but I will say while I was trying to make picks for teams to get this round done I looked at the Saints draft and loved it. I wish it was the Steelers draft, Waynes(cb), Kikaha and Muldin(olb) and Lockett(wr) are all guys we have needs for and have had good college careers!

    NY Steel is correct

That guy is a jenius and should probably be working in the Steelers front office as the GM.

But seriously I did get who I wanted for the Saints in almost every round.

Except for the Steelers 1st pick I can't say that it was a successful draft for them. Still think we reached in the 2nd and 3rd. Diggs in the 5th would have been an absolute steal but we went TE instead.

But as always I had fun doing this. I'll send a recap for my 2 teams (New Orleans and Seattle) sometime tomorrow. Next year I will not take 2 teams again though. to much argument in my head while trying to select for 1 team let alone 2 teams.

I disagree with your assessment of the Steelers' draft. I think we did pretty darn well, and the so-called draft experts would generally agree. Just looking at how our picks compared to some of the big boards out there, we generally got our guys later than the big board ranks. Frankly, nobody will be able to grade it with any accuracy for at least 2 - 3 years, but I would be very pleased if we end up with the same results this weekend. Here are comparisons of our 5 picks with our draft position, and rankings on Mayock's top 100 (MM), CBS/Draft Scout (CBS) and The Huddle Report's Top 200 value board (THR). I've added Diggs for comparison to Kroft. I think either guy would likely represented good value in the 5th.

    1. Dupree (pick 22, MM 11, CBS 13, THR 11)
    2. Rowe (pick 56, MM 44, CBS 38, THR 43)
    3. Golson (pick 87, MM 62, CBS 118, THR 98)
    4. Anderson (pick 121, MM 86, CBS 89, THR 82)
    5. Kroft (pick 160, MM 81, CBS 134, THR 103)
    Alt 5. Diggs (pick 160, MM N/A, CBS 122, THR 108)

I'd be totally happy with this draft, the first 3 picks are great and Anderson was very good value, my only thing with that pick is no way they draft 4 defensive players in a row and Kroft, even know though I would have went a different direction, has a lot of potential.
