lets say both are available at 22. who do we take or do we pass on both? I think peters will be a star. I think the further he falls, the more he gets pissed off.

I know we have done homework on both and I know both fill a need. I was just curious to what u guys thought.

I think the team will do what they always do....follow their board. Whoever is higher AND on the board will be drafted. Ray may have been removed from the board already, or we may have him there, but there is really no way to know. Personally, I like Peters, and would take him, but I have no idea what the FO is thinking.

Between the two I'd take Gregory, as I think behavioral issues are easier to fix than mental/attitude issues.

Depending on who else is available, I think I'd be most comfortable passing on both, but I have a feeling we really like Peters and he'll probably be our pick.

I'd pass on both at #22. However, if I had to take one of them I guess I'd have to take Peters. To decide that, I had to play the "IF" game. IF Peters is able to get past the emotional issues that led to his dismissal, he's pretty bust proof. He can cover and has ball skills. He's nearly the total package at corner. Sure he could be more consistent tackling, but he's adequate. IF Gregory gets past his fascination with vegetation, he still comes with a bit of bust risk. He's a top 10 talent, but a bit of a high risk/high reward top 10 talent - especially given that he'd have to change from DE to OLB for our scheme.

Really though, I'd rather stay safe with our 1st rounder.

I'd draft either of them at 22. Ray too. Since you only asked for the first two, I'd probably prefers Peters... While I think pot is way less of an issue that behavioral issues, I just think Peters is a better player. Not by much though. Either of them could be big time gets for us.

Agreed, but you have to consider that a guy like him literally already has one foot in the grave in terms of the NFL's substance abuse policy. That's kind of a big deal to me. He's not even in the league yet and he's Phase I.

That's true... You make a good point.

There's no phase one for being a d**khead so maybe Peters is the safer pick in that regard? Hahah

I'm all in on Gregory. He's a bit of a dummy in some respects yes. No doubt his judgment is questionable. But I don't think he's a "bad" kid. I haven't heard anything bad about his character and was a leader on the field. I just feel like, if he can grow up a little and get his head straight the kid can be special.

I seriously doubt he'll fall past 27. If he's there at 27, I don't think Jerry could pass.

If he is there, Marcus Peters will be the pick.

This is just wrong in every way, lmao J/K on the same note if we draft Peters and he is on the bench with Gay.....omg the jokes would be pouring in.

Now back to football, if they are both there I go with Gregory only cause I feel CB is way more deeper then pass rusher in this draft. Another thing is I am reading a lot of bad things about Peters attitude and when I found out he was a cousin to Lynch I believed all of it. I am not willing to take the risk on him, let the Seafags, Cheats or Gayven do that, jmo.

Way to play a hypothetical game!

Anyway, I would take Gregory. With out all the off-field stuff, he would be the 5th or 6th best player in this draft.
