I hope we don't get a repeat of last year's draft, when they waited until the 5th rd to draft a scrub who can't play. I expect them to draft a CB in rd 1 or rd 2, and they need to double dip at the position also.

I think it's the 2nd and either the 3rd or 4th. However if Dupree and Ray are gone, it could be the 1st. They may also wait until the 3rd and go back to back corners in the 3rd and 4th. With the depth at the corner position this year, I'd be really surprised if we do not double dip.

I'll say 2 & 5, though, I'm not obsessed with the Steelers cornerback drafts. ;-)

I almost hope they draft a stud lineman in the first so I can sit back and play my fiddle. :lolol:

See, I actually wouldn't mind that Nero.

I think this could be the one year to pick up a nice OT. The focus this year is on the 2 Qb's, 5 Olbs, 3-5 Wr's, and 4-5 DL's to the point to where we could have our choice from 2 or 3 pretty good OT's. I'm never disappointed in picking up quality OL no matter what else we need.

They haven't had much luck with 5th rd CBs Richardson and Hawthorne, maybe they should double dip in the 3rd or 4th rd.

just because we haven't had much luck before in those rounds doesn't mean we can't. those drafts were a much weaker draft for corners. this one is very deep with good players.

The players are there, they just need to scout better, if they don't start doing better homework, won't matter what rd they pick from.

If they take Penn State Safety Adrian Amos [ AKA Ronnie Lott / Carnell Lake] in round #2, they get a guy that can play safety with the best of them, and play corner with great alacrity too.

I think it's going to be the first; one of either Peters or Johnson. And that'll be it. We'll round out depth with a bunch of FA's.

Colbert said in an interview that they would address corner back in this years draft so we can only speculate what round they will draft one, I hope he means EARLY.....

I think 2nd round, not sure the guys being projected to us are true 1st round CB's. I'll take Kevin Johnson in the 2nd though. And for that matter, is Marcus Peters really a 1st round CB..... after being booted from his team before the end of the season? I'll take a flyer on Peters in the 2nd as well.

I believe a cb will now come from the 1rst and the 3rd rounds. These dumb ass OLB can't stay off the dope.

1st: Marcus Peters. Then 3rd or 4th. OLB in the 2nd.
