if the Steelers don't beat the Pats on opening day the rest of the season will mean nothing

I hope the Steelers come out and embarrass that A hole organization and their corrupt chump buddy jag off commissioner pal. Hit Brady early and often and maybe late a time or two. After the beat down throw a deflated ball into the middle of the field.

This team will get lit up like a Christmas tree in NE, we always do.

I definitely remember us winning there. It was the game that LaBeau adopted press coverage and Brady had no idea what to do. Am I wrong that it was in New England?

Why does everything think we will get blown out by the Pats? The season hasn't even gotten close to started.

You are right. A very memorable game, as I was living in New England and watched it with a roomful of Pats fans. One of my most enjoyable games ever. Would be great to have a repeat performance.

We have some advantages here as well. They will have no clue what Tomlin and Butler have up their sleeves. These guys go way back and this is the first time Tomlin has any input on the defensive side of the ball. They won't have Blount so their running game isn't going to be great either. We have the extra preseason game also. Williams can do his thing for a game or two and this is at the beginning of the year so he will be fresh. Bryant and Ben will have had a lot more time together by then and depending on how Brown acts they could have a ton of time together. We could really jump on them and surprise them.

I was thinking the same thing. That game was actually the beginning of the end for Woodley.

I have to disagree with Real Steel.

Winning OR losing in NE on opening day means nothing if we don't beat them in January.

Breathe through your noses everyone. It's only April. The Pats game isn't until Sept!
I predict that, between now and then, Brady will hit a cliff while jumping off while on vacation. Broken legs and ribs and will miss the season. Gronkowski will murder someone just because "that's what Patriot TEs are supposed to do. Blount will fire up a joint in Goodell's office while visiting and puff-puff pass to Roger. Season long suspension. Someone will wash Belicheat's sweatshirt and he'll melt into the ground!

The pats lost wilfork to FA, their two star corners are gone, Blount is suspended for this game, we should matchup pretty well, if our secondary gets some help and our pass rush improves and we stop the run, our offense should be fine in this game, we have 5 preseason games to get ready for this test, I think we will win this game...

I don't know if the Steelers will win or lose. My (very strong, sarcastic) point is that Goodell made two decisions here. 1. Suspend Bell, which is understandable, though he initially said he wouldn't; 2. Not long after, make a calculated move in putting the Steelers in New England for the first game.

The net effect of this decision is that he knowingly placed the Steelers in that game without their star RB. Sure, the Steelers will be without Bell for the first three, no matter the opponent. But the schedule is mostly generated by computer. The exception is the opener. That match-up is not by chance.

A few years ago, remember, the Ravens lobbied hard not to be the Steelers' opening night opponent. And they got their way. The Titans were placed in that one. Either Steelers didn't lobby for this or they were told to take a hike.

After we beat their cheating asses at home in front of their pathetic fans,I hope a game of "Danney" ball breaks out, using Brady's head instead ,of course.

I think this works out for us , with a new DC and new starting faces on D the cheats won't know what to expect, so if you see drones flying over our practice field , you'll know who's watching ,, shoot them down!!!!
