The article linked is 4 months old. We currently have 69 players under contract and are just under 5 million below the salary cap. That's plenty of money to sign the draft class and make moves throughout the season. If TroyP is let loose we'll have either additional 3.75 or 6 million(pre or post 6/1). Basically the Steelers are fine.

 

I hope Neil Young will remember a southern man don't need him around, anyhow.

I never said we are not OK, I am just blown away by how much his contract hurt us. I know we gripe when we lose a good player, but we have probably done more damage by giving away big deals on players who do not deserve it (I am looking your way Allen).

When woodley got that deal he was on pace to break the Steelers all time sack record. You can't predict injuries.

Man I hate to hear that. I was in their fan club when I was a kid. I've been backstage and met some of them even. SUPER nice guys. This is really lame news! Am I Losin' on Nuthin' Fancy is actually about him.

 

Their version is the definitive version for sure. J.J. Cale is cool but it seems that most of his music is better when interpreted by others. The same goes for Bob Dylan.

 

I like Clapton's version too, but its not as good as LS
