Women ref

It seems the NFL has hired it's first woman ref, I think this may cause more problems than it solves IMO, I kno there are thousand's of female fans, but that doesnt mean we need a woman ref... Whats gona happen if she gets ran over and hurt..??

The same thing that happens when a male ref gets run over and hurt. They put in an alternate or they go with a smaller crew.

if she can get the call right, if she can cover the ground (and she only has to be in better shape than men in their 60s), I got no problem. Grade her like all the rest and if she grades poorly get rid of her like you would a man.

 

S o your sayin the media won't make a big deal when/if she gets ran over and hrt??..... to me this ios nothing more than grabing headlines, or a PR play..

 

If she does a good job, I don't see any issue with it. I will be annoyed if they change the position Head Linesman to Head Linesperson, though.

 

If the NFL was wrryd about having the best refs possible they would hire a younger crew fulltime, and have them trained most of the year, not just prt timers that they have now, and i could careless abt gender also, bet u this would never happen if there wasn't problems this past season involving women,

 

If that's the case then I guess you are OK with Women playing in the NFL for any position on the roster?

 

She looks like she could be cute from that pic, but I could be fooled by the hat. I need to see bikini shots before I make up my mind.

If she's big enough, fast enough, strong enough and better than anybody else available, why not?

 

What's next? Women players? LOL! I really have always wondered why there are no women coaches. Just keep her away from Peyton in the locker room. I know what he did to a woman when he was here! LOL!

I knew when I saw the title of this thread that it was absolutely inevitable that it was gonna get chauvinistic in here pretty quickly. LOL! The same would probably happen on the field though. If women are gonna be allowed in the NFL then I DEMAND that I be allowed to be a Victoria's Secret model! You wanna join me?
