Understatement of the decade. However, given the trajectory of NFL rules and rule enforcement, he may just be ahead of his time.

If we got a solid OLB in free agency, then that somehow happened, I'd literally $hit my pants

I did this one using fanspeak's premium simulator. This was using the CBS Sports (Rob Rang) draft board. I did one trade - a trade down in the 1st with the Colts to get another 3rd. In the 2nd, I was nervous about losing out on an edge rusher, but I stuck to my board and took Rollins. Mauldin ended up being there in the 3rd anyway, so I like the way it worked out. I'll admit, I'm a bit nervous about Jalen Collins as a 1st rounder based on my limited review of tape, but the guy has natural ability that flashes occasionally.

    29 - R1P29 CB JALEN COLLINS LSU
56 - R2P24 CB QUINTEN ROLLINS MIAMI (OHIO)
    87 - R3P23 OLB LORENZO MAULDIN LOUISVILLE
93 - R3P29 OT DONOVAN SMITH PENN STATE
    121 - R4P22 RB T.J. YELDON ALABAMA
    160 - R5P24 S KURTIS DRUMMOND MICHIGAN STATE
199 - R6P23 OLB KYLE EMANUEL NORTH DAKOTA STATE
    212 - R6P36 TE NICK BOYLE DELAWARE
239 - R7P22 WR DEANDRE SMELTER GEORGIA TECH

I just did this one using the fanspeak premium draft engine and Optimum Scounting board. I traded down in the 1st with Indy, and then traded up to the top of the 5th to grab Walford. The only question mark for me is whether Preston Smith can play OLB. I've been reading that he did OLB drills at his pro day, and looked decent. I got thrown a bit for a loop when both Kikaha and Mauldin went in the 3 picks before my 2nd rounder. Golden and Danielle Hunter were both available when I picked, but I like Smith based on his DE tape. I

    29 - R1P29 CB JALEN COLLINS LSU
56 - R2P24 DE PRESTON SMITH MISSISSIPPI STATE
    87 - R3P23 WR SAMMIE COATES AUBURN
    93 - R3P29 CB BYRON JONES UCONN
    121 - R4P22 G ARIE KOUANDJIO ALABAMA
137 - R5P1 TE CLIVE WALFORD MIAMI (FL)
    212 - R6P36 CB NICK MARSHALL AUBURN

I like the draft and I like the depth at CB that you got . Not sure how they rank their big board , but Jones will not make it out of round #2 and Marshall will probably go in round #4 .I predict 5 at the latest. But I like the draft a lot and would be happy with this result .
