There a some things u assume thats gona happen, Idont think you need to see Rick or someone shoot/ stab her husband to no that it's going to be done.

Right, same here.

And I agree that it's just assumed that they'd
kill Deanna's husband before he turns
, but they've made it a point to show them finishing someone off to keep them from turning so many times before, it's a little weird to skip it.

I finally was able to watch this last night. It was really hard to stay away from this thread.

It was great to see Morgan again. Do we know how he went from raving lunatic to forest ninja/zen master?

I liked the episode, though, I thought the sequence with Deanna>Rick>Dr. Douche was a little hard to swallow.

What's the purpose of the Wolves' food truck traps?

Only thing I can gather is that
a) The Wolves are a bunch of jerks who want people to suffer
or
b) The person gets caught by the trap and the wolves can then take their stuff

I can't figure out the Wolves' end game at all here. We haven't had much interaction with them, but they don't seem like the typical bad guy out to do harm. There's more to them. And as I mentioned earlier, I'm thinking they purposely don't kill the brain of people they come in contact with, to increase the number of walkers. I don't know what else would explain the "W" walkers

I think the Wolves are the people exiled from Alexandria. Maybe they are going to try and lead the walkers to them, let them inside some how and thats why they are making them :hmmm:

Rick was looking down at the ground when they showed him fire, I can't think of a single reason why he would miss on purpose, especially after his speech. No, I'm quite certain he put that round in docs head.

Are we all on the same page as to who is being discussed? I took it the question stemmed from what they were going to do to break it to the Alexandrians about having to do something to ensure Deanna's husband didn't turn. Though maybe I'm the one who got confused. Either way, I agree that Jim got capped, and don't have a problem assuming they took preventative measures with the husband as well.

I'm with you. I assume when Deanna told Rick to do it, he capped Pete. I think in that instant Deanna finally realized what Rick had been saying all along was true. You decide who lives and dies in this new world, you have to.

Yes, I don't think there is any doubt that Rick shot the doctor in the head. The item of discussion was whether or not they kept Deanna's husband from turning after the doctor killed him.

Yup yup, definitely some confusion there :lolol:

Rick shot doc and thats all. Probably whatever happens with Jim will happen off screen as I doubt next year will pick up from that very scene. I guess maybe the Alexandrians are aware of the fact you turn when you die, otherwise you'd figure theyd work that in to the story line, thats pretty big news when you dont know about that little fact.

The wolves are raising an army of zombies at their beckoning. It's brilliant really. It's what Daryl would do if he were a bad guy. I imagine next season will include a time lapse since it's the perfect time to do so.

Lenny James (the actor who plays Morgan) said that "New Morgan" does have an origin story... but he's not allowed to talk about it. I'm guessing we'll get a flashback and/or bottle episode for Morgan next season showing that.

I'm guessing the traps are simply there to catch people, steal their stuff, and do whatever nefarious things to them they like to do (as well as add to their Walker stable). th bigger question for me is: How the hell did Daryl fall for the trap?!?! I mean, it had trap written all over it!

Well, there you go saying all the obvious stuff again! Seriously, you know that every time there's 2 people in an unknown situation they just start talking loud and forget all the things that kept them alive the whole time. Sheesh, it's like TWD canon at this point!

So Comic Con is happening. And with it, comes a couple trailers.

The "Prequel" Spinoff Series, Fear The Walking Dead (Starts Aug 23rd):

6 episodes for the first season, but it already has been optioned for 3 seasons. Once those 6 are over, it's time for the main show to start. And THAT trailer is a doozy!

Fear looks good too, seems they should just keep it a 6 part mini series though, 3 seasons may be over doing it.

I watched the FTWD trailer last week sometime and both my wife and I are really looking forward to it.

We just watched the new season 6 trailer yesterday, and man, it looks like it's going to be an intense season. They've been going back and forth painting Rick as waffling between good and bad and the trailer looks like it's about to go down one way or the other.

FTWD has the chance to be really good. I won't say it will be better than TWD, but I think the storyline of how the virus spreads and the mass panic is a good one. We really didn't get that in TWD, as the story was pretty much joined in progress.
As for Season 6, I think it's safe to say that while Deanna might be the "governing body" in Alexandria, I think Rick is probably the one who will call most of the shots.
I'm really interested to see what plays out with Daryl which happened at the end of the trailer. Was it the wolves?
