Nfl draft no shows

    It seem's that Winston or Marieota is not going to be at the draft.... Goodell must be hate'ing the fact that the 2 top QB'S and possible #1 pick overall not being there, lol.....

    I don't no y Winston isn't, But Marieota is going to be in Hawaii, something to do with his heritage .. I saw Schefter post it earlier tonight

    Is she terminally ill or something? Do you think the league might ever make a rule that says the top 10 picks have to be on site? I mean the draft is an actual media event now. I saw something a few years ago that said only the top 10 are ever there anyway. I figured it actually was mandatory for them to be there but I guess not.

    I woudn't doubt that they made a rule something like that.....It seem's to me more and more draftee's are starting to attend, i remember a couple a years ago when the Jets qb started to fall, and Goodell put him in a private room, so the cameras woudnt be on him, LOL,.. and he threaten not to sho up the nxt day thats when the jets picked him the sec round, lol... It seems some of the drafte's that attended lst year slipped to the 2nd maby even to the 3'rd cant rem who tho

    I don't think they could fairly implement a rule like that. First, exactly who the top 10 are would just be a guess. Second, if the team's drafting in the top 10 were limited to the players in the room on draft day, it would unfairly penalize them by limiting their choices (and would limit the amusing WTF moments that Al Davis was so good at providing).

    i think a simpler way to achieve what they want to achieve would be to compensate the players that they want in the room. It is an entertainment event, so pay the entertainment.

    Yeah I could see them doing it maybe like that. I'm sure Goodell wants to have his picture made with the top picks and then have all the articles written about how much money said player is about to make and stuff like that. No matter what, I just want a camera on whoever gets picked to play for Cleveland. LOL!

    We could all be watching the 2nd nite of the draft tonite, but Noooooo Goodell had to go and mess this up also!!!!!!!!!!.... I myself enjoyed when it was just two day event., I swear everything this man puts his hands on goes to pot:mad:..... On a diff note how much you wana bet the deflate gate results get released within the nxt two weeks,leading up to the draft.. just to build interest in fans that dont watch the draft.. Its been over 3 mnths and not a peep from the NFL on this,, they tring to coverit up till it goes away, or is there really some evidence and trying to find out all the facts... anyway i guess my rant is over..

    Would you want to shake Goodells hand and get a hug from him???

    I think most of them are there first 2 days though. At some point they stop bringing up players anyway, 4th rd? Maybe?.

    There was a time when some said Decastro may be a top 10 pick. If he had been required to be there, then gone 22nd...that would NOT have looked good on the front office. Same with Rodgers
