I am not advocating to ignore anything; but I do think we need to make the weakest areas our priority in both FA and the draft. Never said to ignore one side of the ball, but there should be a priority to the units that are the weakest: OLB, CB, S.

We all know that we need help at outside linebacker cornerback and safety, but that doesn't mean that if a decent backup running back comes along that we should ignore that because we haven't filled those other positions yet.
Seems like you're saying we should have never signed a running back before addressing those other positions first? Is that what you're saying?

Why aren't people happy with Williams being signed? He was very good with the Panthers for many years...

I don't know. It was a good signing. I think some people have a problem with his age.

Oh man, thank you for advising me on how I should spend my time, I was lost this whole time. And when I bought Brown's Jersey as a rookie, it's Antonio right? (They all wear the same colors and run so fast I get confused silly me) I guess I just got lucky. I mean he was a 6th rounder, not some high priced FA like #17 who's on his third team. I'm just really thankful you can enlighten me on how the team should run its off-season agenda. I'm as happy as a...well, as an agent talking to the redskins. I've really enjoyed our lesson, it was a good talk.

You should post a video of Michael Scott doing his conference room meeting with Mifflin when Ryan was trying to make everybody start using Blackberries and Powerpoint. LOL.

Limited resources ($2 mil) being spent on a backup that some fans hope not to see much of while glaring holes exist in the starting lineup at other positions.

Our backup RB actually earns more than our veteran starting CB, and our veteran backup QB ... which just seems a bit odd.

I think probably like 98% of people are happy with the signing. It's just a couple people that complain about everything That don't like it

The cause for Jennings failed physical designation was a recent minor elbow surgery. Supposed to be fine. AFAIK, most of the time, a failed physical designation is more procedural than indicative of an actual injury.

Not quite; never asserted such an all-encompassing mandate. All I am saying is each signing not only dings at the cap, but each meeting/new deal eats up time and focus. You only have so many hours in the day, and $s on the cap. We are literally crippled at OLB, CB, S. Until they address those areas, I don't feel too confident. They should have found a way to keep McCain as well.

With this draft class, and demotion of the RB value in the league, we could have got a solid back in the middle rounds, and saved us tons on the cap.

Our needs at the positions you mentioned are not near as complex or dire as you make them out to be.

CB - sign one of the two cornerbacks coming in for a visit this week. Take a CB in one of the first three rounds of the draft and add that to what we already have on the roster and we're good.

OLB- we have Jarvis Jones, Arthur Moats and I believe Howard Jones. Re-sign Harrison and take an OLB in one of the first three rounds of the draft and we're good.

S- we have two starting safeties in Mitchell and Thomas. We have a back up in golden. Re-sign Will Allen or have Troy take a huge pay cut to stay and add a safety in one of the first four rounds of the draft and we're good.

As far as McCain goes doubt there's many here they're going to Agree that he was worth 3 million per year for what he has to offer.

Oh yes, we are in super solid shape at those 3 positions, you are so right. At OLB one starter is weak and slow, and can't get to the QB unless there is a busted play. On the other side, we have a career back up who won't ever get more than 3 sacks, or, if we are lucky, we have a 36-year old who we MIGHT sign some day. VERY solid shape there. At CB we got one guy who was listed as one of the very worst CBs in NFL with his horrid play last year (Allen) and the other pencilled in starter is noted for being skinny, frail and weak (Webb) and had zero picks last year. We are rock solid at that position as well.

Lloyds so full of crap. He complains about the Steelers not signing any free agents and then when they sign a free-agent running back he says we should've done that through the draft?

Don't come any where close to sharing your optimism on OLB and CB. You say "We have Jones" as if he has proven ANYTHING so far. The only thing he has proven, is that he is too weak to bull rush with any success and too slow to get around the OT to get to the QB. And you list Thomas as someone we have to play S, but he has proven nothing, other than he is always hurt, or still couldnt earn his way to playing time when he actually was not hurt. As far as McCain goes, $3 mill for a starting CB is very much in range for what the market is at. I thought he played well enough to start on this D, certainly better than our other options, other than Gay, who is underrated.

You don't seem to be following along very well. Pay attention. I want free agents signed who are in our largest area of need. Back up RB needs addressed, but no where near as much as OLB, CB and S. It's not even close.

I'd argue that back up running back may be a bigger need than those others considering L Bell is out the first two game.
And I'm going to change my mind no way a ravens troll could be smart enough to troll the way you do,
