I agree with this. I wouldn't be ticked if we brought DHB back as the #5 WR on another 1 year vet minimum deal in the summer, but I'd want to explore all other viable options first (free agency, draft and post June 1 cuts). I'd prefer to have our special teamers be young, potential up and coming guys that we want on the roster to develop. If we're going to add another veteran WR, it should be a guy who has actually achieved something as a WR in recent years. Only after all other options don't pan out would I bring back DHB.

DHB had no impact because the OC and the QB didn't work him into the game plan and rightfully so . Not because DHB sucked , but rather to build a stronger unit with the young guys which was the correct thing to do . If the team expects to use the Team concept and preach the value 1st. I can't see a better example than DHB.

He will be cheap, he will have knowledge , he will have value as a ST and most of all as a WR he will block and do anything he is asked to do and not complain when the QB doesn't look his way . Lots of value there in today's NFL.

Ok... be honest, did you make a bronze bust of DHB that you are hoping to sell to Canton some day? You've been on him since his pre draft days when we were on the old board ;)

I think he is a solid player and had a lot more potential than we saw from the Raiders. How many good players have the Raiders all but destroyed over the years ? I think we took Wallace that year and I was hoping DHB would have came to us . I would have took him over Wallace and I would still...

I think recent history has proven you wrong on this. DHB had an opportunity to start in Indy with Luck, and couldn't hack it. He came here and watched superstar Justin Brown play ahead of him. Yeah, he's a good guy, plays hard and is willing to get his hands dirty. However a WR needs to actually catch footballs once in a while. For all of divaness, Wallace is a far better WR than DHB. It's really not even close.

A better WR , but all in all would much rather have DHB . Is my point you can find plenty of Diva WR'S how many Team players can you find ? Wallace would break this Team apart DHB will simply do his part .
